Rose barely knew Jack. The movie wasn't long enough for Rose to understand Jack was actually the infamous Jack, the Ripper. They were going to explain that on the sequel but as everyone is well aware now they both drowned. So no, Rose wasn't too smart IMO. If anything, she's a bubble-headed bimbo to me actually. Another reason why IMBRA is so important. If only she knew she could've stayed put on that lifeboat and had a nice family with a Yuri (it wasn't a rescue boat but I'm sure you knew that). She drowned for nothing.

You'd be better served if you instead searched for the likes of Olgas, Natalias, Lubas, Svetlanas, etc..., many are aversive to sea travel.
