It is my opinion Putin will remain an untouchable during his life. He will step down from power only when he decides to.  Not crazy about the idea but to me I have to accept what I believe to be a reality.

This credit warning will most likely turn into the actual lowering of the US credit rating. When it does interest rate will start a dramatic rise. If you have an ARM it could bite you in butt in a year or 2.

Last time I looked Gold is now $1500.00 per ounce.  Obama claims that the rise in commodity prices is only temporary.  Bernanke's speech yesterday seemed to calm the Wall Street crowd as the market went up about 95 points.  Yet many economists believe that inflation and prices of food, etc will only get worse due to the very large US deficit.  Trump for President!!

Malzberg then posed the same question he asked Donald Trump several days ago: If he were to walk into a casino and place a bet that the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO was going to make a presidential run, “how would I do?” He got a similar answer from Cain.

The Fed is being cautious and not lowering rates anymore.  Obama announced that 30K troops will be brought home soon from Afghanistan.  Of course he needs to do a lot more than this to jump start the economy.  As the election draws closer, it will be interesting to see if he can actually come up with some sort of plan to really help the economy as opposed to spending more and more money which we do not have and must borrow from the rest of the world.
