I was pointed to this website as a cheap download for MP3 music.  Lo and behold, the site is full of Russian music (maybe because it is registered in Moscow???).  At $.02 per megabyte, it is a good price.  I have found that using 128 bit encrypted MP3 files is more than suffient for a decent CD.

Of course the alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.russian is a good place too, but slow.
