Getting from place to place
« on: February 06, 2006, 06:14:04 AM »
I just got back from Kharkov last night.  My next trip will be in 5 weeks.  I plan to go for about 2 weeks and want to visit a lot of gals for a day or two each that are scattered all over the place.   My exact distinations may change between now and the time I go.   There are gals I want to visit that are in Kiev, Lugansk, Krivoy Rog, Simverpool, maybe Nikolaev and Odessa,   Maybe some other places, to early to tell.

Usually I have gone a place or two.   Some of these won't be bad.  I can take a cab from Nikolaev to Odessa.   I could rent a car but I don't like the idea of driving there so I am sitting here sorting through the ideas such as trains, planes, busses, car rental, trying to find a private driver.  Just curious to see if anyone has any suggestions of how you would do it.

Pavel, in Kiev is a great guy with a very dependable driver.

He will charge about $20.00 for a ride to the airport which is about 45 minutes from the city. I think the rates are reasonable.  You can haggle with some of the cab companies on the phone, for a specific flat rate, before deciding to use their services.

Turbo if you know you have reason to go to Lugansk, Kiev, K.R,. Simferopol, Nikolaev or Odessa then why don't you work very hard in trying to find another 3-4 ladies whom you have a real interest with in each of these cities. Increase your chance's of success. Run ads in each of these cities, go to sites and look at all the ladies who live in these cities that you will visit, get the address of those ladies who interest you and write them. For the ladies whom do not have e-mail address send letter by registered mail and a few who really excite you maybe have those letters hand delivered with a single red rose. Let each of these ladies know you would like to meet them over dinner or lunch next month.

As with most things, it is a numbers game and the more sincere women whom you have interest in that you can meet in a short period of time will greatly increase your chances of finding a good woman. If done this way it's only a matter of time before you find your dreambride.

Turbo and others.

Please be aware that the price of petrol has risen substantially since last February so don't be surprised if the rates have increased.

I was giving a "ball park" figure plus or minus $5 - $10.

Thanks for the suggestions.   The rates you quoted for Pavel are about half of what I have been paying so that sounds like it could be worth following up on.   My next trip is likely to be the 14th of March but I have not purchased the tickets yet.  Feel free to contract me Clyde.   You may have noticed that someone you know's town is on the list.

Jack, thanks for the suggestion I do plan on contacting a few more gals over the next few weeks.   I like to spend enough time to know them a bit but basically I look at this trip and the one to Russia that will follow a few weeks later more like a fishing expedition.   I just had two back to back trips where I spent 5 days with gals where the chemistry was not what I would have liked.

Turbo, you are a lucky guy. I cannot afford to return anytime soon but my wife and stepson hope to visit friends and family in Ukraine in 2006 and 2007. I promised his father he would return for summer vacation. My wife wants to visit also.

Yes, I saw the places you are visiting and I hope all goes well in that certain city.

Well one thing for sure, if I ever do find the right gal I can be sure she won't be marrying me for my money because I will have spent it all finding her.  I hope things go well there too.   Do you happen to have an e-mail or conact info for Pavel that you could PM me?

Looks like I will be in Ukraine on March 13th thru the 23rd.  If  by chance we cross paths I'll buy you a beer.  I don't really have  an itinerary yet, will probably just hit 2 or 3 agencies and see what  they and me can come up with.  Was thinking about Kharkov  Girls.  Their website has a pretty good webcam going.  I'd  take either of the women on it right now.

Hi Scott,

That is likely about when I will be there.  If we can cross paths, I will take you up on that.   I don't have my itinerary worked out yet but will be starting to do that soon.  Keep me posted of your plans and if I can work out being in the same place at the same time, I will.
