 I'm new! I was born in Siberia, many of you are probably not enough imagine where it is, I will explain, this is just the middle of Russia, and down a bit on the map. The territory of dense forests, swamps, pools of oil, harsh and vulnerable people of old-fashioned beautiful  women. Sometimes come across people like me ..... wild and curious nature which trying to find answers to all questions and keep happiness in the open palm

'm starting a little surprised))) especially after reading your msgs.Hey its true? I did not pioneer?? What a pity! But there are pluses, maybe I'll find new friends who will not have to explain that the town where I live is not amongst the glaciers, among passers-by can not be found white or brown bears that as a pet with us dogs and not foxes or deer .... In your introductory post, you mentioned that you have a curious nature, so do I. I hope your being a curious person will help you realize that my following question is trigged by my curiosity and my desire to understand, NOT by an intention to offend you or pick on you.

The question is why a lady like you, who seems to be concerned with or conscious of the norms of politeness, say something like this (see below) about people whom she does not know at all? I doubt your words were to insult members here. Yet you overlooked that groundless assuming the lack of imagination within people is inappropriate. Don’t you think that groundless assuming the lack of imagination within people is inappropriate?

Please, be assured I am NOT speaking down to you; I myself am guilty of saying inappropriate remarks to people from time to time, and I am trying to get rid of this awful habit. Your answer to my questions might help me gain some insight why it is so characteristic of FSU people (of course, there are exceptions) to say such inappropriate remarks.

I did go to one University and saw a couple of interesting wood buildings plus went to a private home banya but it was -40 when I was there so we weren't walking around too much taking in the sights.

Tomsk does enjoy a very good reputation though.

I have been to Tomsk a number of times and will continue to make that journey,  My wife is from Tomsk and of course all her family is still there. I really love Tomsk and have since my first trip. True it's not a St Petersburg or a Moscow but Tomsk has a charm all it's own. It doesn't remind me of a city of half a million people, it resembles one much smaller.

Hello! Your words do not hurt me! I "for" friendly attitude and curiosity in all things. Try to explain my conduct at the time when I wrote the first post.The first of all I didnt wont to offend anyone, honestly.Not at all , I respect and accept all people as they are. I hold a personal policy that allows anyone to be so for what it is without any analysis of his words, thoughts, behavior-and acts.Modern society and world has a lot of stereotypes that are embedded in us from birth. In any human has its pluses and minuses, regardless of place of birth or status, or lifestyle.

Sia, do not worry your “Глядя 0-2” does not indicate that you are looking here for your Mr. Right. In fact, “Глядя 0-2” is a nonsensical phrase for a Russian person. I do not speak Ukrainian language, maybe “Глядя 0-2” is how Ukrainian people would translate the English” looking for the period of 0-2 years”?
