? Eh, I'm sorry to report that I do not understand what you mean here. Except perhaps for the "sayings". And why did all of a sudden Sweden come into it? I noticed Pantagonie doing the same in one post about me. Maybe it was because I hinted to him earlier, something about him being from Germany rather than France because of his meticulous planning, hehe.

Classic example of "lost in translation." I'm referring to the use of sayings or idioms with people that are from other countries.

Roy, going postal refers to an incident that occured years ago when a mail carrier (here in the US) durring a moment of insanity started shooting people. His defense was he so stressed out that he lost it. So, when economic situations are bad or when people are under a lot of stress in general, you'll hear the phrase "going postal" in many conversations.
To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason, and whose philosophy consists in holding humanity in contempt, is like administering medicine to the dead. Thomas Paine - The American Crisis 1776-1783

To make it a little more on-topic, I found a Russian saying/proverb about love:

"We do not love people because they are beautiful, but we think they are beautiful because we love them".

and another one:
Любовь зла - полюбишь и козла - Love is vicious, you can fall in love even with the billy-goat.

A Czech wisdom: Do not choose your wife at a dance, but on the field among the harvesters.
Russian version: Жену выбирай не в хороводе, а в огороде - Do not choose your wife at a dance, but in the vegetable garden.
