Next time you do this, before buying a plane ticket, call the girl often. If she likes you, she will want to talk to you. If you have nothing in common to talk about, your conversations will go flat thus you don't need to go to the FSU to learn that from her face to face. If she's a gold digger or scammer, she will be happy to take your calls initially but she will grow bored with you after awhile if you're not talking her language and sending money.
Before any man goes to the FSU for a woman, he should call often. Any reasonable woman would question the lack of motivation of those men who don't want to call even if he's says he's buying a plane ticket. Calling doesn't cost much but can save your precious vacation time, save money, and heartache.
