Well while tradition does expect the man to make the first move. If he does not get an interested response I sincerely doubt they will pursue for long. After all what would be the point when there are so many fish in the sea.This is where the mutual interest comes in IMHO. How long would you hang out with some man waiting for him to show more then just a passing interest in you? Why would you expect men to be any different? FWIW

    No you do not need to translate. I was reffering to the cutrual view when men ask for a first date, men ask women to marry them, and men are expected to provide the lead. Men are suppose to be the head after all right!?

One of my former Belarusian girlfriends used to make fun of me for driving to the grocery store one kilometer away from my home.  FSU is a walking place.

Some Western men take the rejection from Western fish much easier than do other Western men. Some Western men change their bait, their boats, their poles, others fish many more places in the Western seas. Some catch a lot of fish in the Western seas and some do not. Those that do not become starved for fish. Some of those that catch many fish in Western seas are not satisfied with the size of the catch or the fish.

Both of these groups of Western men find that fishing in the Eastern seas is a reliable answer to both of these problems. The Eastern seas has fish that are plentiful. Every where the Western men fish in the Eastern seas nice beautiful fish are easily caught. Little to do with the bait, the boat, the poles, rejection from the fish is rare. They'll bite an empty hook. A Western men can even pick out his fish prior to ever putting his boat into the Eastern seas. To insure a successful catch and a mess of fish, A western man can have picked out the most desirable fish and have them all caught in a net before his boat ever lands at port. This is why Western men enjoy fishing in Eastern seas.

I ate a lot local fishes when younger. Married one for 10 years. Got divorced. Ate more local fishes for a while but couldn't find the one. Looked for fishes abroad. First fish not good, second fish not good, third fish bingo! Getting married in a couple of months.

Many WM find their way here (to this pursuit and RWD) based on information and propaganda from the big MOB sites. Many of these men expect something much different than seas of fish. They need something more secure than that. More to finding fish in a barrel ready to shoot. And to a degree, they do find it. I suppose there are many men that it is the only way they can date and garner the attention they crave. IMO, it is a two way street and works much the same way on the other end but, they don't figure on that.

No Expectations No Preconceptions      When I go I will be there just to experience the culture and the people. I have no expectations of what will or will not happen.  I have always figured people are basically the same all over the world. They all want to enjoy their lives, family, friends, and careers. They whish their children to have better lives then they had ( though they may not see their own lives as being bad.) If you travel with a positive attitude and tread lightly you will learn and see more then if you take a heavy handed approach. I look forward to the adventure and have never bought into hype either from MOB or RDW. The fun is in the ability to see the world through someone else’s eyes and make new friends.  FWIW
