I have actually never posted in my life before but then I came across this lovely website and I thought I might be in luck and get my questions answered.

A bit about the background as to why I am on here ?

I am really attracted towards Russian women something that I wouldn't have found out untill I met Russian/Ukranian girls here in New Zealand who were either out with their partners working here or just on holidays. I absolutely adored the culture, the value and also the sentiments. Though I am not really a culture vulture probably far from it but to find someone who is honest, caring and loving is all we blokes are looking for in a relationship and vice verca I would say.  I grew up in Chandigarh (Northern India), left home at 17, further Educated in Britain where I completed my degree and then moved to New Zealand to work and study more and this is where I live at the moment.  I do not want to use this website as a dating path and kill the purpose of the forum but if anyone is interested then please do email me and I would be happy to exchange pictures etc and tell you guys more about me. Pretty much looking for someone humble and with that hot Russian accent lol.

I have read a lot about Russian architecture, history, politics and art. So I am intellectually inclined towards Russia as well not just emotionally. I would be keen on making friends on here as well because it seems like a really decen website and gosh I have been searching for a while now and hope the search ends here. There arent a lot of Russians if any around where I live so its difficult to meet anyone here but maybe you guys know of communities in Australia or New Zealand that would be helpful too but I am open to travelling and willing to cross oceans in search of true love so where ever you are from, just get in touch really and we can take it from there.

I am looking for a Russian dating website where I can meet someone and since the internet is flooded with them, I do not know what to go for ? So some nice genuine website where people are serious about dating is what I am looking for.

I'm a kiwi, but living in Australia, there is quite a sizeable Russian community in the Eastern States.

I highly recommend meeting someone in the FSU (former Soviet Union) you will find the trip amazing.

Get yourself a great profile, go with the Gold membership, keep an eye out for scams and go for it!

i am also starting out i went too these cheap sites like rbrides and it was just scam but i heard elenas models are good,i done know about forreign affairs but they look very professional,but where do you plan to go ukraine are russia?

Hey European 78,  How you going bro ? I was primarily looking at just Russia and Ukraine. It does seem like a decent place that elanas models. Problem is there are too many of these websites and one has to be careful like you said as there are a lot of scammers out there. For the life of me, I cannot understand the constant referral/recommendation to Elena's Models.

I have looked there before each trip and found it totally wanting.  They have relatively few women in each city in a particular age group that a man may choose.

EM pales in comparison to the number of women in any particular city of the desired age group to other sites that are cheaper or even free.  And I never encountered scammers on any of these sites.

And, with this plethora of guidance toward EM, I would  think  it is pretty fished out with fairly jaded women.

Yes, I agree, better use free web sites, but still you have to be very careful, as there are some scam ladies, as well. So, just be smart and realistic and motivated and always think twice before taking a serious decision.

The message may well be that there aren't too many sites we recommend.

There are a couple of tour operators and many web-sites which get a lot of play because they sell a fantasy of half-dressed women and subservient trophy wives who will perfectly blend the roles of maid, hooker and mother.

The thing is YOU need the skill and common-sense to weed out the GTG (Good Time Girls) and scammer types who want your money or to use you as a ticket to a better life.

Pick a site, start working on how you will present yourself to achieve whatever sort of relationship you truly desire and ask lots of questions.

You might want to look at www.originclub.com too, they are based in Vladivostok which might be better for you geographically (being in New Zealand - flights would be through Korea).  Owner's name is Olga Petrovna, I know she works with the girls in Vladivostok, but I imagine the others on her site are just registered via the internet.  I met my wife through this agency.

Thank you Muckraker for that mate.   Thanks to 2tallbill too.  I think I want to stick with the free ones for the moment because in one sense I feel atleast I am not getting mucked around with a paid membership so the pressure is lifted a wee bit off the shoulders there.  I reckon we guys should host a genuine free website for people eh man ? What do you reckon ? lol. Sort out everyone's problems and take up shop somewhere in russia, earn the blessings of the male species lol.

How long have you been in NZ? You have certainly picked up a lot of their euphemisms in your language style "bro", "mate", "cheers big ears" You'll have to drop that when you are corresponding with a Russian girl, she won't have a clue what you are talking about.

BTW Mies was not joking, if you are looking for humble, perhaps Asia would be the best place to start, if you are looking for 'humble' from a Russian woman -  be prepared for baptism by fire!!

Communicate with a lot of RW at those above sites. If you maintain focus with your big head, you'd soon enough be able to tell the difference between the sincere and the insincere. After you find a group of sincere ladies, ask for their phone numbers and call often. Just because a woman is writing you doesn't mean you're one of her favorites and getting her phone number. If you by chance end up calling a scammer, she will not be enthusiastic about you calling often unless you send money to feed her craving. You learn much more with phone compared to emails.
 
Stick with the women who are attracted to you and excited to hear your voice on the phone. Visit only the RW that have the same beliefs and life goals as you do. No sense wasting time going on a $3000 date when you found out through correspondence the woman has contradictory views. No matter how beautiful she is, don't go on that date.
 
If a RW likes you, she can treat you well. Choose wisely and you'll be very happy. Choose wrong and you'd wish you remained single.

before you travel to Russia to find there your humble wife, i suggest that you google something like "russian neo-nazis in Moscow" or "convicted gang of neo nazis in Moscow/St Petersburg/...."
The basic google search will yield you many recent and interesting articles, for example this one:

I think you are going to be fine when just being a tourist in Russia, but when you start dating local girls - things can get different for you.
