But fairly newb with regards to Eastern-European ladies (and heard so much about them haha), and I wouldn't mind learning something new or pick up a few tricks.

 I am corresponding with a couple Ukrainian gal's, and both seem interested about Canada. From what I know, Canada-Ukraine geo-political relations have been progressively strong; especially since we've had waves of mass Ukrainian-immigration throughout our history. Fun fact - Canada was actually the first Western country to recognize Ukraine as an Independent State after the collapse of the Soviet Union in '91. Even opening our Embassy in Kiev in '92.

 So far the online dating with FSU girls have been great, I'm actually thinking of visiting Ukraine in the near future and check out the sites; and by that I mean the ladies!

You might want to share some info about the ladies you are planning to visit, i.e. what site you are using, your age and their age, anything that feels a bit "off"about them. You may get some good advice here that could prevent you from being taken advantage of. You also might want to expand your search into Russia, Belarus and Moldova. In my experience hunting grounds are very, very furtile in those countries, more so than Ukraine these days.

@ Eduard - Yeah, someone here in a different sub-forum had asked a question about an obscure pay-per-message website I use myself at the moment, and I dropped my own two-cents on that website in question (http://www.ussr-star.com).

Some think its another scam site, but personally I don't think it is (if it is... whatever... thats my problem till then), compared to what I've heard about Anastasiadate and other popular FSU Online Dating sites. Really the way I see it, You pay for what you get and I acknowledge/understand what I am getting myself into. Yeah its expensive because, you pay for credits to send and open messages your interested in; With the current Global Economy, what isn't expensive these days seriously!? How much are you willing to spend to find that special someone?? I've done my own basic research, and they do list the Parent Company with its contact info, and where their main office is located. That to me is enough to know that they are decently honest, and just created a website to connect people!!

To me, every guy has their own-experience/own-take on the websites they've used, whether it be good or bad. I do listen to them of course and ponder on it, but ultimately thats my own risk and decision to be using any Online Dating website that peak my interest.

My point though, is I think men who decide to do the Online Dating route should do their own research and make an informed decision, instead of being swayed by opinions (good/bad) of others based on their own experience; it was sad that I saw this happening in the thread I was lurking on!

I've googled about info discussion forums on the particular subject of knowing Eastern-European Culture/ FSU Women/etc. and I decided to join here because I see this forum is freuqently visited by many curious people. It is "a bit" strange that information about their main office have not phon numbers and office is located in Belize City, Belize.

Welcome aboard AzNCowboy587! You are right about Canadian - Ukrainian relationships. More than that, as you know Canada welcomes independent skilled immigrants. That's how I landed last year, so I enjoy being a Canadian now. In 2010, about 280 000 immigrants landed in Canada. Not sure how many of them are from the FSU, but there is a lot of Russian and Ukrainian immigrants here, who are more or less established themselves in their new country.

Do you have any friends among them? Did you tried to get to know single immigrant women who may live near you?

@ Olly - I realize that, and fortunately I have travelled to Belize City once on a Buisness Trip... It is a beautiful City, and very big in regards to Metro-geography than any other Metropolitan City I've visited thus far!!

Anyways, one of my Mantra's is - "Age, Intellect, and Maturity don't matter after the age of Adult-hood (which is 18 in this modern age); so really its a matter of the limitations you put on Yourself as a person!!"

OMG !!  I am glad you are not a woman roaming about in this endeavor.  I once had the unfortunate experience to get involved with a woman who was heavily into the philosophy/religion aspects of Yoga.  She drove me nuts with that crap until I was able to extricate myself.

Yeah, I do like going to Yoga studios and checkout the beautiful sight of a woman doing them poses (LOL); why do you think Men do it!!
Even though you might not like it that a woman is dedicated to something like Yoga, its best to be open-minded and even try it out with her. At least you will have fun doing it together, and you relate to her more once you have a basic idea of what the hoopla is all about.

I agree with you... its a matter of keeping a Positive Mindset!

I think it matters if "You" feel that your inadequate or feel lacking in the Intelligence department. Its not hard to cure that though, just culture yourself in knowledge; pick up a book and read; and having a perspective of being a "Student/Learner of Life."

Its true that they say, "Women mature faster than Men!" LOL
