Lost in Space - or Lost and Found?
« on: November 11, 2011, 11:50:52 AM »
Every now and then I think about those who for some reason or other do not post anymore.

Just thought about Rvrwind a few mins ago.

Last I recall, he was back in CA(nada) arranging for his wife to come over..

Anyone heard anything since?

Once or twice a year I'll email jb..  He seems to be doing quite fine and amused that some of his threads 'here and there' are still going strong..

Any other 'critters' we've lost track of that folks here still remember?

Leslied seems to be enjoying living in Turkey..

Richard and and his wife are living in Canada over a year now.  He was working as a department manager for the Canadian version of Home Depot. He has started his own small business (Richards Rentals) renting and repairing small machinery.
JB is as catankerous as ever. I wanted to meet up for a fishing trip, but our schedules didn't work out.

Jet.  Katzenmouse.  Tiger Paws.  B&B.  Albert/Pike.  Bean (who went down in a cloud of dust).  There must be more as my memory is not the same since my head injury a year ago.

It seems the list could get longer with possible recent additions such as Kuna.

How about the women?  Blues Fairy then Lily, and many more.  I believe those two just became too busy with their new lives and felt that we were hopeless so why bother.

I spent some time emailing JB about global warming calculations.  He has an excellent grasp of science.  Such somehow led to him revealing that he once dined on mammoth.  :)

As for the ladies, there are Milk Carton photos for Oooooops, Bluebelle, RussianWind, and ShallowPockets...

and for the guys there is also the ever cryptic Diplomacy,  who I think was waiting for his lady to arrive a couple of years ago but never posted a follow up.

Lily shows up in my thread occasionally. I'm sure she's reading more than posting. She's never been one to throw herself into a fight. I think Bluesfairy is busy with her young child but she may be reading occasionally too.

Prince Alfie

Anybody know what happened to Cameraguy?

Scott and the wife split the sheets after moving back to the US. He made no parade or party of it but stated IIRC, he was pretty much done with the entire ordeal, forum and all.

There's too much about him to list. For those who don't know Alfie, that's all they need to know to understand him and how strange his life was. I remember he tried to be a matchmaker for his hot dog eating friend who had a habit of destroying his apartment everytime a woman breaks up with him. Alfie took a beating here and ended up posting more about his life elsewhere where he was welcomed until he posted his website showing off his art.
