Russia, in From the Cold

After 18 years of stop-and-go negotiations, it is good news that Russia, the world’s 11th largest economy, finally sealed a deal on Thursday to enter the World Trade Organization and subject its unruly form of capitalism to the strictures of international law.

I posted this yesterday and not to take away from your post as the Moscow Times write up is just another viewpoint. To be honest I didn't expect it to get much play here when I posted it and as of yet it hasn't. The board much perfers to gossip like hens  .
 
But it does have implictions to anything Russian and how people should view Russia going forward. Thanks for reposting what I believe to be an important step in the right direction for Russia and Russians.
