Hello.  My name is Larisa and I live outside of Dallas, TX with my husband and son.  We have been in the US for 2.5 years.  My husband participated here while we were dating and going through the visa process.

My experience is that I owned a marriage agency in Kazan, Russia since 1999.  Though I did sell this when I came to the US.  I was affiliated with a lot of the large networks that you are all familiar with and have insight that I can add to the discussions.

Now I am a consultant and a Matchmaker.  Though I have a few men clients, most of my clients are women in Russia that seek men in the West - primarily the US.  Strange that so many women are fed up with the internet system of international dating when I read that many men are also.

I look forward to getting to know all of you.  My big question is:  will I need to do math EVERYTIME I post or does the verification go away at some point?  At least it is easy math...

You mention several female clients.  But who pays your fees for these females?

And, even if many are fed up with Internet, it will still  have to be used.
Yes, the introduction may be different when you are involved . . . but after that, the emails, Skype talks, transfer of info for documents, etc., will proceed the same, no matter how the two parties originally came together.

I, for one, never had any problems with original meetings via Internet based dating sites.

Thanks for the welcome.  Women are paying for my services ML.  Similarly that many of the women in Russia paid for my services. That is to post and manage their accounts online.

I have made my living from the internet dating so I do not want to disrespect it.  It is a fantastic way to meet people from all over the world.  I would not have met my husband without it so I certainly cannot say it is a bad system.  I will also say that it has its positives and negatives.

Thank you for the well wishes Muzh.  Though I am sure there are people I can help, I am also as certain I can use help also.  What I have learned about this process and seeing everyone's opinion of it from all directions is that none of us truly know exactly what is happening.  It is never as it seems.  I don't care if you have attended sex parties, I mean socials for 10 years or if you are a former marriage agency owner as myself, it is never as it seems.  Not fully.

I am also fairly new to this forum but not the topic.  I am sure you can provide some insight for the members that would like to hear your point of view from the other side of the fence.  I was lucky enough to find my finance through an on line dating sight but not before spending a few $K on translations, paid letters, and sexual entertainment by the young ladies that lure you into the 'private' rooms for $5 per minute

There has been so much posted from the mens point of view, it would interesting to get the inside 'scoop' directly from you.  Perhaps you might want to start a thread on the topic.

So you post the ladies ads in places like Match.com and Yahoo personals and forward and translate the men's emails back and forth to your lady clients?

Thanks for welcome JohnDearGreen.  In Russia, we did not post to such sites.  We would post to international sites that we had agreements with.  For example, if you visit Elena's models, many of these profiles are posted by marriage agencies and they are paid by the woman to manage the account.  The client will stop by a few times a week to read emails and make a response.
