World in Protest!

So I know you guys said the Occupy Wall Street would not last,
But they are still here and strong.


Now Russia is protesting  "The Boss!"

It has been a very busy year for protests!

Any one have any thoughts. Why?
Is this just a one year thing or do you think the Protests will grow through the next few years.

It seem Spontaneous Socialist Flavored protests are happening everywhere?

OWS may still be going strong, but they are marginalized even by the Dems because of their incoherent message and anarchist structure. Plans are already afoot by the DNC to block them from the Dem Convention. It doesn't help their cause when even main stream media reports of organizational efforts by ACORN and SEIU, not to mention funding from Soro's PAC's etc....
 
Whens the last time you heard Obama mention OWS? Granted, his populist reelection platform borrows from their gripes. By channeling Teddy Roosevelt in his Kansas speech, he gets to gin up OWS gripes without having to align himself explicitly with their cause.

In Russia the protests have much more clarity. With Putin ascending again to the presidency, it is a clear message not only to the RP, but to the entire world, that his designs are on a Soviet style government, along with the pre requisite ballot fraud, voter suppression and strong arming political opponents. The people don't want it and are very afraid. Poor Vladimir is pretty glum these days.

For the rest of us, no matter who gets into office in 2012, more dark days are ahead. And with dark days comes unrest.
