Elena's Models was the first agency I joined when I began my search for an FSU partner and with hindsight I wouldn't have done so had I known then what I have since learned.

Whilst I would hesitate to say it's a scam I am in no doubt from one look at Sexy Olga's mug (Sorry, 'Elena Petrova') that her primary goal is raking in the dosh and lots of it. How else can one justify a price tag of over $50.00 for her simplistic and largely useless book in PDF format? Bugger me, I could buy a nice hardback copy of Anais Nin's 'The Delta of Venus' for less than that and learn far more about women!

If the figure of 16,500 schmucks (sorry, guys) chasing 5,000 girls is accurate for this site, it speaks for itself. It's great for the girls; they will be inundated with attentive suitors and if they gain nothing else, will have their egos immeasuraby boosted. It's great for the agencies who provide Elena with her 'product,' all of whom get a nice rake off from the high fees she charges to obtain addresses, read letters and so on. Reading letters is perhaps the best money-spinner of all. I have given up even responding to the automated emails the site sends out. $8.00 to read that 'I liked your profile, write me please' is not my idea of money well spent. It's great for Elena and her business partners. She must be laughing all the way to the bank. It's not so great for the geniuine guys trying to find a genuine partner. If they have any sense they will wise up (as I did) and move on.

IME the girls are also rather ordinary. They may look gorgeous (at least in a photo studio) but very few know any English at all and even fewer have anything of interest to say. Of course, there is method even in that, or so a cynic might deduce. By favouring FSU women with poor English skills the agency not only keeps a tight rein on communication between them and its victims (sorry, 'valued customers') but profits from it over and over again.

There may also be a more sinister aspect to EM's which I find quite disturbing. I now know of three instances where a girl has been pressured into keeping her profile on the site and encouraging men to write to her after she has found a partner and made it clear that she wants to pursue a sole relationship with him. Do EM's threaten such girls with being put on a scammers black list if they do not comply? I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. People will do all sorts of questionable things to protect their 'business interests.' And that is the bottom line here folks. EM's is a business, first and last. Elena's dosh comes first, you are way down the list, guys, especially if you are not a 'Platinum member.'

Finally, I also have direct evidence that EM's is passing the profiles of some of it's male customers onto other agencies, presumably for a fee without their knowledge or persmission. Naughty, but again, it doesn't surprise me.

I also know of several instances where male members (no pun intended!) have reported proven scammers to the site. Their requests have gone unanswered and ignored. It doesn't take a genius to work out why. Do Turkeys vote for Christmas? Not down under, they don't.

As others have pointed out, if you pay the premium price you will get 'matches' sent to you every month. But these 'matches' are often as young as 19 and sent to blokes over 50. I leave you to draw your own conclusions as to the motivation for such practices.

The most charitable conclusion I have come to is the Elena Petrovna is a very canny and ruthless businesswoman with a very specific goal. A more cynical person might call her a crook. I couldn't possibly comment...

IMV, there are better agencies out there. Not necessarily any cheaper, but better, insasmuch as they appear to have a genuine commitment to matching their male clients to their girls. But I suspect they are very much in the minority. If you must use an agency then pick a local one and talk directly to them by telephone and if at all possible, get personal recommendations from people who have used them and can vouch for them. Otherwise it is very much 'caveat emptor' I'm afraid.

Two comments if I may. I for one also agree with much of Stepinit's views and comments about EM and see and hear the same feedback from many others. And yes I know some guys have also been successful with this operation. With the large number of good guys and chumps who are members there has to be some success stories, just as a broken clock is correct twice a day.
