What cities in the Ukraine to Visit, I'm in rochester, ny

Hello,  Do you think it makes a difference that it snows here all the time, i mean should i go to a city in the Ukraine or Russia that is similar latitude or are all cities in that area cold and snowy ?  Many people do not like the cold and snow, but for now, i love it.  I think as you get older you like it less and less.   But the summers hear are great.    Thanks, Don

I think any woman from the former Soyuz would love living in Rochester, the Flower Flour City.

Don, Russia, is one of the coldest countries in the world. nepolian couldn't handle it, Germany either. I think they will like our change of seasons.

I met women from a number of cities in both Russian and Ukraine.  Some from very cold climates.  None, not a single one, liked cold or snow.  But they can certainly live with it.  I only knew of one who specifically wanted to find a man living in a southern climate.

My guess you will find that the majority of women from Ukraine and Russia dislike the cold. But they often enjoy skiing. Sometimes though there attempts look like a DNA spiral at the bottom!

Depends what you like in The States. Flat countryside head east from Kiev. Mountains the Carpathians are not unlike the Adirondaks. A harbour like Baltimore try Odessa, crazy night life again Odessa from July to September. A supper boring city like Binghampton, perhaps Zhytomyr where I am writing from. If you have seen Mt. Desert than the mountain range of the Krim is similiar. If you want to spend some money Kiev can suit your needs.

The name of the "super boring city" is Binghamton, not Bing-hamp-ton. It was named after John Bingham.

As for boring -- I guess you have never really been there. Been through, perhaps, but not there.

Exactly JR, I am trying to decide which city to get interested in and maybe focus my attention there.    Lugansk, Poltava  are high on my list now.   

Or were you talking about a Lady Interest ? Find a lady and see where she lives? 
If that's the case,  I found one in Armenia, scary part of the world for me.

Sorry to any residents of Binghampton 

Last time to a client was about ten years ago - he was still complaining about his city. One visit was because at 3 am just outside the city I got bored on Rte 17? & was driving above 80 mph. My name and the one on the registration did not completely match so I spent several hours with local constabulary.

In the end a funny group of guys/gals, they also had a dim view on Mr Bingham's city. And fully understood my desire to leave the city behind me ASAP.

There were other visit's but I could never find anything to excite me there.

If  you found an interesting lady in your back yard why do you want to go to Ukraine when it's freezing with record lows??? Take the lady of interest someplace warm and tropical ))))
