Muzh,  It is noble of you to take interest in stopping another African butcher.  Central Africa, West Africa and East Africa have seen protracted conflict ever since their independence.  Atrocities include genocide (Rwanda and others).   Sometimes the tyrant is not a rebel but the head of government dictator (Idi Amin).   Now the world has Joseph Kony.  He claims to be a Christian, and oddly another tyrant (Blahyi) stopped his mass killings upon coversion to Christianity.   

It would be easy for a US Special Ops team to kill Kony.  However, someone else would replace him.  He is Number 1 on the Int'l Criminal Court's list.  How about the others on the list.    These criminals are essentially warlords and sadly this seems to be the culture there. 
 
You do not have to be a flaming liberal to take interest in these tyrants.  Conservatives abhor them too.  Did you take this much interest in eliminating Saddam Hussein?

I thought this was the reason why we have such organizations such as UN, ICC, etc...? You know, the International community. Let them do what they're getting funded for.
 
I'm certain the libs aren't suggesting the US ought to go and do something now, are they? If so, why not make a video about Syrians, Yeminis, North Koreans, Iranians, Tibetans, etc...while they're at it. no need for the US to be branded imperlialist again by our friendly neighbors across the pond.
 
It's Africa. That ought to be a European house-cleaning duties for the mess they made (they're making) there. Let them push the broom for  change. They did a great job in Rwanda.

a) The bombardment and murder weren't conducted by, led by, executed by, imperialist USA...
b) The action taken against, and the replacement of, a dictator it's country's leader wasn't perpetrated by imperialist USA...
c) The military incursion/invasion against a sovereign nation, without a declaration of war, was not by imperialist USA...
d) Libyan oil is not marketed to oil-hugging, oil-addicted USA...
e) The invasion and slaughter of Libyans, in the name of oil nation building/population salvation/rebellion support, wasn't conducted by imperialist USA....
f) The "NO BLOOD FOR OIL" placards is temporarily out of stock...
g) This is outside the jurisdiction of the ICC...No blood, no crime...
h) The UN was out for the Holidays...

Other than that, why are you surprised? No story here...

Honestly I don't know if you are serous. You may even be on my side with this issue. In the name of making the world safe for democracy America kills lots of innocent people including thousands of children. "Collateral damage" Quadifi was a bad man but was he worse than his replacement Al Qiada? In Libya I believe it was less about oil and more about Quadifi's efforts to make a African gold based currency and to keep the IMF out of making loans to Africa with all the strings attached. I don't believe America cares who's in charge as long as they allow Western banking interests in. The first thing NATO did when their guys got a foothold was to bring in a central bank.

Maybe we should look at how Quadifi's ranked in human rights violations,,

Before the invasion,, and after....

It is my understanding he was ranked much higher than other countries we are allied with.


If we want the UN to tackle these issues the USA and other Nations will have to fund it better.

We will also have to convince Russia, China and the USA to send a quota of Troops, for a combined UN Army...

If only we could get the 3 great super powers to work together,,,,,
