For anything you transfer by PayPal you can open a dispute within 30 days and request a refund. Reason why several large companies have ditched PayPal, as handling fraudulenst disputes cost them a lot of time.

Perhaps but, that's not what he said. When he saw the status on FB, he took the money back out of the account. The dude is lying his ass off  :D

Please explain the lying part and save me from having to review this saga again.  Somehow, I missed the connection about taking the money back and the lying part.

Once again, it can be done. If he made a PayPal account and gave her the password, in theory they could both have access and load as well as withdraw.

Or to give a complicated example : I have a PayPal account linked to a debit card.
I can upload funds to my debit card, add them to my PayPal account transfer them by PayPal and withdraw them back to my bank account from another PayPal account. If done correctly it can even be free of charge.
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

You're usually razor sharp on these declarations Boe, you're slipping some?  :D

I've only been skimming, and picked salient points, the FB dates being one of them.  I have to admit, I find bruttus' English taxing to follow.

I agree with Shadow, communicating in a third language was probably also an issue.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

There were never any English lessons. Not paid for, not discussed or administered

I thought bruttus met her in July 2012, and her status was changed in February, 2012.  Surely, she was planning her trip by the time she met bruttus?

Granted, some young people fall in and out of "love" often, but my point was just that this girl was someone Mila knew.  No matter what one thinks of bruttus, he was successful in accomplishing his goal here.

I am curious wow long does the Mexican visa issuance in Kiev, for Ukrainian citizens, take? Does it involve the trip to Kiev?
Again, not the point when and why the girl changed her mind about Bruttus. The point is did or did not Mila had discussions with Bruttus about English classes for this girl (paid by Bruttus) some time in July-August-September?

Mila wrote to me that Bruttus was never going to pay her anything, and that the girl broke up with him in July - that's why she (Mila) didn't offer Bruttus girl's relationship status updates, but she never wrote in the clear terms that she hasn't talked with Bruttus about such classes. Nor Bruttus wrote in clear terms whether and when he discussed these classes with Mila, or was just having them in mind, but haven't discussed them. This is what keeps me confused (and the thread going).
Maybe, if Mila or Bruttus have some correspondence (e-mails, skype chats) to prove the point that English classes were discussed - that would be very helpful in solving this argument.

Also, I don't know how cancelled transactions are reflected in PayPal, but if they are reflected, then maybe the screen copy can be used too? Or the bank statement showing the money were sent to PayPal account for particular services. I am not a curious person (I am, but not to that extent), but when I am trying to complain about someone, I always try to collect all evidence and use it as a proof. It helps to avoid ambiguity in the situation "who believes whom?"

I don't know what could be confusing for you. There never were any lessons, at anytime or discussed. bruttus lied many times about many things. The lessons were just one of the lies he told. The girl didn't want anything to do with bruttus. She didn't want him paying for anything for her. There was no birthday present. There wasn't anything. After the last time the girl saw bruttus it was over. It was over before he left Ukraine. He knew it. He stalked the girl on facebook which is what prompted her to have 2 skype sessions at his request, to tell him it's over and she's not interested. If you fell for bruttus spin tale, learn a lesson from it.

In fact there would be Pay Pal records that Brutus could download if he chose to.  All transactions are recorded and stored even the cancelled and reversed ones.  It would have been intersting to know if they exist for the 'English Lessons'.  If they do exist FP will be eating crow for as many times he has called Brutus a liar.  Maybe Brutus will come back long enough to put this to bed.  It certainly has gone on long enough.

It has been put to bed. He won't come back with any proof. There has been a big stinking turd on this thread since the beginning. I've eaten crow before and learned from it. Taste like chicken  :P
