Flats in Kiev and Nik (Monthly)?

I see this section doesn't get much traffic for some reason - and I know there are a gazillion posts about this throughout the site - but thought I'd try to get some fresh data for 2012...

Anyone have some tips, contacts, or links for semi-long-term rentals for a flat in Kiev, and then Nik? Looking to stay about 6 weeks in each... July/August...

Also looking for a guide/terp once in Kiev too...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I used this agency, but its been several years. Sergey and his father ran it then.  They have decent rates for airport transportation.  Sergey spoke excellent English.

I preferred an apartment about one metro stop from the K street metros.  The area in the above apartment was  my preferred area, near the Tolstoy metro.  As you can see it is just past the end of Khreschatyk street, no more than 10 minute walk from main city center area.  Some restaurants within a few blocks walk are Pervak, Richelieu, Taras/Opanas, McDonalds.  Here is a good map of Kyiv:

Now it's my turn to apologise - been on the road the past 2-3 days... just thought I'd check to see if there were any more... No one is really offering a solid monthly rate   Guess I'll keep shopping...
