Few days ago I joined Elena's Models and send  "Send Expression of interest letter" to:  18 women

so far:
1 - interested
6 - Not interested

11 - not yet read

Is it normal to receive so many women that aren't interested in me?  I send out to women age ranging: 32-42, and they aren't supermodel women.

Am I 'too young' for them?  I might be 43 years old, but I don't even look like it as you can see my photo.

You are good looking guy, no doubt about this..
Now you need to make professionals photos to enhance your appeal on sites, you need to choice three or four photos, no more. Full face, full figure minimum... And don't mix professionals and amateur ones.

Signs of interest are for childrens, begin to work on a letter that will be interesting. Work on it, work on your profile. Ask and pay a professional terp to translate all in russia. After you have to write, as adviced EM on her site, you full story, it will need probably between two and four weeks, and ask to a professionnal terp to translate again, it will cost between 400/500 bucks. .

1. It is almost Orhtodox Easter, some will be on vacation or otherwise busy.

2. Do you have a photo of you on your profile which is a little more formal or dressed up?  Some women prefer that you show yourself to be not always casual.

3. It is OK if your profile is in English, but, have you written a good profile, or just a few sentences?

Seems a very low EoI positive response.  I  haven't been on EM in a while though. 


Yeah, get some pro photos... and use the sock trick!  I have not idea really, but your country could also be a factor.  Or just a slow period, or just a batting slump.  I remember  sometimes I'd get 4-5 straight not interested and then 20 in a row interested

It really is a numbers game where all roads lead to One,  and remember -- no matter where you go, there you are unless you're not, in which case, you wouldn't have gone!

I suspect your low response rate is because you are deaf.   The FSU has a long way to go in this regard, generally.

"deaf" is a negative word to be placed in the profile.   I prefer to write to the ladies to let them know and let them decide after reading my letters.      You need to remember that these ladies who speak English, did not speak English before.  They learnt.  If they can learn English, then they can learn my language.

American/Canadian/English/Australian women are too lazy to learn any new languages, unless Russian women.

I had 2 ex-girlfriends who are 'hearing' but we did not end the relationships based on our communication problems.

If you haven't already, it's worth upgrading to the Gold membership. It places your profile closer to the front of the queue when women are searching ( but after the Platinum members, of course)

This of course doesn't explain the low response rate from EOI that you send, but like a previous poster said, Orthodox Easter will see many FSU women being busy (at least this week/weekend)

I have a hard time believing that, unless you count the forced French from kindergarten thru to end of high school as being multilingual.  I went through it, and certainly am not bilingual in French and English ...

 I would suggest the Gold membership - it's been a couple of years since I was on EM, but from memory I switched within a couple of days because the 'free membership' was too limited.

One woman also asked why I'm on the free site - suggesting I'm a scrooge! (she is now my wife lol)

You need to have more detail in your profile, you have summed yourself up in two sentences.

First impressions do count, and the profiles that caught my eye were the ones that wrote novels - the 'tick and flick' profiles I just bypassed.....so I imagine it's the same with the ladies.

hehe I've actually spent a fair bit of time in Portsmouth in my childhood, my Mother was from there and my Dad was from Emsworth, still have a lot of family in Portsmouth, I have a lot of memories of walking down Commercial Rd and Fratton Rd with my Gran.

But with regards the EM profile.....days of clicking the fingers and have RW falling at your feet are long gone. Check out the competition - and make your profile stand head & shoulders above them. The detailed description, translated by a native speaker is a good suggestion (I didn't do it, but would if I had my time again)
So, I'd suggest some work on the profile and a knock-out introduction letter, some pro photos (use a photography student if you want some good shots on a budget).....and get off the pay per letter sites.

Of course, that is entirely up to you.. yet we are speaking about "first impressions" and even those who can read English will probably not understand half of what you write (truly.. without a lot of effort and thought).  Guys also have some stupid idea that it "proves her interest" or some horseshit notion such as that if she's forced to decipher a profile... 


All the women I met could read/speak English well (except for one, but that's a different ball of wax), and they all appreciated being able to read about me easily, effortlessly, and enjoyably.


It's about optimizing your presentation.. how you go about that is up to you...

I'm multilingual, and not all the languages I learned were learned in the home or at school.  I have several friends who learned second languages as adults, sometimes, French, though several people I know learned Spanish.  A couple I can think of also learned Hebrew.  One woman studied Gaelic in Cape Breton.   She is childless and unmarried, and each year, she would travel there.  It took her about a decade to achieve fluency.

It is only for 1st impressions, but what about after..... writing letters 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 99th.  Pay more for translations!!

It is best not to write Russian to eliminate these who cannot read English.
