The problem is that women want far too much for far too long whilst men need a little bit more - their FANTASY and FREEDOM !  ;D

Of course, that is my opinion and it is more than likely that men might have a different opinion  :)
If you want to keep your expressions convergent, never allow them a single degree of freedom.

Just having the freedom to have fantasy is enough for many men.  ;)

The biggest challenge I see with this is that many women (just as many men) have unrealistic expectations.
...

Geez, it's a well documented phenomenon that women are far more unrealistic than men.  They wanna marry some vision of perfection.. finally settle for what they can get.. then spend the rest of their time trying to change him into that vision!  It never ends!!  It's probably because of that damn frog/prince story... whoever wrote that should be dug up and shot on the spot..

Hi Bill, thanks!
The biggest challenge I see with this is that many women (just as many men) have unrealistic expectations. Funny how guys get criticised for this while in my experience women are just as susceptible to living in a fantasy land as men.
I was talking to this FSU lady. She is around 45, about 5 or 6 in regards to looks, well educated, makes decent money but I wouldn't call it "well-off" by the US standarts. She asked me to find  a handsome man (9), up to 50 yo with good education. In the West "good education" means "well-off" in most cases, so basically she wants a rich, handsome guy up to 50 yo.
Do you guys think she has realistic expectations? I agree with Shadow that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" however I'm yet to meet a handsome, well-off late 40s or early 50s guy with MBA who's preferred age parameters for a potential mate are above age 40. In most cases they are looking for an 8 or 9 age 25 to 35.
Do you guys see where the problem is?
Ed, here in Canada, I mostly see the male profilce with a desired age range of a woman from a few years younger than himself, to a few years older then himself. Only a couple of times - and by now I have seen hundreds of them - I saw the male profiles who stated that they won't accept a woman older than themselves. It is mostly his age plus/minus a few years.
For your woman friend in the FSU, I'd suggest two strategies. If she is willing and able to significantly increase her physical attractivity by either means, then maybe she would stand a chance. If this is not possible, then my suggestion for her would be to invest in an independent immigration to the West. If and when she is here, she may automatically be perceived as pretty and therefore has chances again.

Da, da, Canada; Nyet, nyet, Soviet!

LoL!... you just need a side order of deep fried Status!   ;D

Okay, so let's push the original question a little further while Ed is pondering his fee for Lily's advice and sleeping on Pitbull's comments...

Ladies, do you think it would be the man's responsibility as "the man" to reimburse the lady for her sold kidney expenses in such a venture?

HAH!  Maybe the trick to this whole thing is to accept frogs for who and what they are especially since we are all even if we happen to be frogs ourselves..  ;)
