Some notable newcomers as well, but i havent known them very long yet

Not trying to speak on behalf of Doll, just would like to ask some questions for clarification if you dont mind:
Are you talking about those FSUW that decided they want to immigrate to USA only? Do normally women on international dating sites state they interested to find husband from USA only? Or you mean FSUW should learn about cultures of all countries their prospective husband could be from?

Not trying to speak on behalf of Doug in this particular case but just expressing my thoughts 

There also a lot of cases when women move into countries they really know nothing about and later they found themselves in unhappy state of mind as they are not able to integrate and adapt to a knew culture. They marry not only men they hardly know and after they sigh on the forums that he turned to be not what she thought he was, but also their expectations about a life in a knew country failed... they feel lonely and so on.

Also women have to consider their abilities to learn a knew language.

Personally, being a very sociable person and realistic  I was inclined to potential life partners who would be from Russia or from the countries where English is official or better de facto language.

Doug, it is very understandable that it is difficult to keep a healthy life style when your partner does everything otherwise 

But I think you should consider that people who lead healthy life style with a healthy diet usually look for a partner who leads the similar lifestyle. Self-sufficient woman looks for a partner she doesn't need to convert, re-educate and re-model  I also would not recommend to have an age gap more than 15 years.

In either case when I got up this morning the first thing I read was his beginning post in this thread. I was worry because it did not sound like the Doug I know. So I skype’d him to see if he was alright and if there was something wrong. I will not go into detail as to what he said but At least I made the effort to try and understand his point of view. Just as I try to understand everyone’s point of view. After all this is all just out opinions here and it should be understood that is all it is. Some of these opinions are presented, (to out own way of thinking), in ways we understand more naturally, where others just grate on our minds and sense of propriety.

   We are all just here to gain understanding of each other’s experiences so let’s remember we are all willing to learn and let’s try to have some fun in the process.

No, seriously, Doug, how are you going to have a relationship with a UW: a little disagreement with someone and you can't control yourself, how are you going to live with a UW? Send her away every time she cooks bortsch instead of a burger explaining to her that it's not a third world country and you eat upper class food only ?!
