Does anybody else have experience of FIANCE.COM?

I signed up for premium membership with FIANCE.COM (at $30 a month I think). After contacting the women I was interested in (and paying $8 a time for the privilege) I received an email saying my account was suspended - no reason given.

I can only imagine it was due to the fact that when writing my letters I included my email address but this is not against the terms of the membership.

I wasn't able to reach the site by phone and my email asking for an explanation remains unanswered.

I definitely would NOT recommend this site.

If you have Premium membership ALL correspondence is free and unmoderated.  Suspension will have nothing to do with supplying an email address.  However, if the woman you were writing to is linked to the site through an agency, it may well be that the agency itself has cut you off (if they're one that prohibits email contacts).  I had Premium membership for free for the best part of three years (not quite sure how I managed it after taking up an offer for only a two-week free trial!) and had absolutely no problems with getting individual email addresses.
 
I wasn't interested in video chats because none of the women I wrote to needed that - they had Skype on their own computers.
 
I agree that they're hard to reach, but they complied with all my requests (including removing my profile, which I did a couple of months ago).
