Hi All,

I'm a 28 yr old Canadian white (mixed northern European background) guy. I'm getting back into the dating/marriage market after my wife died just over a year ago. I'm not sure if I'm truly done grieving  But I have two kids (4yr old boy, 2yr old girl) and it's getting time for me to move on and think of the future. I figure looking around for what my options are is the first step before really jumping in headfirst is wise.

I'm not sure if FSU women are exactly what I'm looking for, but I met my former wife through the internet (American she was living in Hawaii) and had great success, so why not try again?

FSUW are not generally known for wanting to raise another woman's children.

There was another thread here touching on this factor and, I think, that several women here agreed with this assessment.

Always exceptions, but why go to all the trouble looking for the exception when there are going to be a million other problems to overcome anyway?

It's not like it really excites local women a lot either, from what I can tell. At least my kids are sweet and cute, which is good, but it makes the thought of travelling to the FSU pretty mind boggling difficult.

My interest in looking over the internet is the fact that it's much easier to be upfront about expectations and desires than in person.

Where I live, the marriage ritual seems to be:

1.) Date for a year
2.) Live together for a year
3.) Be engaged for a year

Then get married. Logistically, I'm better off with a local girl, but talking to them bluntly is just against the rules, especially for my age bracket. It's expected to date for a month before even broaching difficult subjects, and I'd rather not waste my time. At least over the internet I can be upfront that I'm looking to get married, and no I'm not interested in messing around for sex. I've got kids to raise and want more kids. I want a rich family life.

Thankfully I bought a good Life insurance policy on my deceased wife, so I'm doing well financially, and can afford some "investment" into finding a new partner to live my life with.

But life goes on, and you are young and sound like a great person. Everything will work out. Don't even doubt it. True, not overnight, not without an effort, and, surely, not without a compromise. On the site of russian fiancees in America there are VERY MANY girls, who came here with their kids, to marry men with kids. That your kids are small is a pluss because they'll adjust better to the new mom. Everything will work out and be good, sweet guy. I personally know a person here in US who was in a similar situation, and everything worked out eventually. ( if you wish, feel free to write to my personal mailbox, please. I rarely post now, but to you I will reply without fail).
