I think that mixed black girls from the FSU are pretty effing hot.  They're definitely exotic.  And, what's more is that they're not like typical African-American girls.  They most likely talk and act just like white women from the FSU.  So, whatever you might not like about African-American girls you probably won't get with African-FSU girls. 

Let me know what your guys' opinions are.

Umm.. I don't know about that.  Two black girls that I found on Elena's models look like they're half-black, and I bet that they grew up in Russia or the Ukraine their whole life. 

Maybe you guys disagree, that's cool.  If she were the child of an immigrant or immigrants, unless she grew up in an immigrant community, she's likely to act like the native population of wherever she's living in.

There are  Ukrainian born black girls in  port areas-particularly Odessa.Areas where seaman frequent

It may be more rare than it is in the USA, but there are indeed light skinned black girls in Ukraine who had one parent who is black, and the other who is either Ukrainian or Russian.  It's simply not correct to say ALL come from Africa, and NONE have Russian language and traditions.  As JayH says, it is more likely to occur in a port city.  I noticed it as well in Odessa.

Olly, it seems you do not watch the russian TV much I recall a couple of TV stars, black girls born in Russia from black guys who indeed  arrived from Africa for study in universities. I happen to meet black kids on the streets with their white babushkas.

IIRC,  in the 1960s there was a large influx to the URSS of young students from African countries fighting against colonialist rule, or recently independent but torn by civil wars between opposing factions, one of which was typically Marxist-oriented and deserving Soviet support - and cultural imprinting.

It's normal that students in a foreign land should seek the company of local girls, who at the time probably found the colourful novelty attractive .

On another note, the number of black girls on FSU hooker websites is constantly increasing therefore FSUM, too, must be finding them exciting.

His ears are so big he looks like a smiling black buttefly with a neck and human legs. Plus he wants free healthcare...he should vacation in Russia and take the metro everyday, I think.

Anyway, as Sandro mentioned above, aside from Afrikans, a lot of Cuban expatriates lived/studied in Russia during the cold war also and many decided to stay put and remain in Russia.

You're obviously a conservative.  I don't want to derail this thread into a political debate, but I do want to point out that more than 60% of bankruptcies in the US are due to medical bills.  It's apparent that affordable health care is a big issue here. 

And, back to exotic combinations.  Of course, there are always exceptions.

In the 1920s-30s there were American black families who migrated to Russia at the invitation to join the Soviet Communist experience. The idea was to show the world that Communism was the most equal way for people of all colours to live. They were promised a dream that was in reality a nightmare.

Well, that was a less than stellar experiment. Today the ancestors of those 'pioneers' have grown up in Russia and Ukraine to less than happy results in most cases. They're in a no mans land -- little to no acceptance by either Soviet or Russian society -- and no basis to return to either Africa or America.

Sometimes you can see them, on Metro trains or on the street, and while their Russian is fluent and they operate within a larger society, they seem to live a very isolated life.

Did it ever occur to you, that unless you speak Russian,
you wouldn't know if a white, black , mulatto,  or green RW  were using crude language or  slang that you seem to be referencing in regards to certain western women?

That's one thing men in this endeavor seem to often overlook..
Of course , given some time, most would learn of her speaking style and behavior eventually, and hopefully quickly.but they cant  tell much initially, like they could in their home country

I knew a RW who completed an American form that asked her to identify her race.  Choices were Caucasian, black, Asian....  She was confused why there was no white yet two blacks.
 
BTW, I have met a couple of Afro-Americans married to RW.   Everyone is happy.

To the original OP: As a comparison, the percentage black (African-Americans) in the USA is 12.6%, far greater than in Ukraine or Russia. The black population in Ukraine is almost unmeasurable. The last census showed that after one gets past the olive skinned people with roots in Greece, Tatar, Azerbaijanis, etc, the black or African heritage population is included in the 1.1% of Ukraine's "mixed race" population. Where you do see black Ukrainians is the large cities and even those counts are low even factoring in the African students who've come to Ukraine to study.
