Ten with a 10! The Extended Trip Report …

[Note to Readers: I started writing this as a 10th anniversary announcement to let folks know things are going well. Once I started, I was having so much fun I just kept going. It’s been a month now  :)  and it has gotten quite long, so I’ve broken it up into “chapters” like a serial to make it more digestible. Sorry for the length, but it is a good story.]

FDA WARNING: The FDA has determined that men who read this report are spending small fortunes on airplane tickets, hotels, trains, and wasting weeks, months and years wandering through strange lands wearing snowshoes. They’ve lost jobs and squandered family assets. Some have been found in half way houses mumbling rw … rw … rw … without comprehension. If you are in recovery for Slavic woman fever, DO NOT READ THIS! Repeat after me: “AWs are the best. All women are the same. AWs are the best. All women are the same …” You have been warned!

Hello RWD;

My wife and I are heading into our tenth anniversary and this brought my thoughts back to RWD. I participated here for a while in 2008, but stopped because, like many internet forums, it gets a little rude for my tastes and wears me down. However, I was curious to see how things were going and started reading threads to find out. And what do I find? Several of the “marquee marriages” of that time have since crashed and burned. Others have fallen along the way as well. It’s disconcerting. Many of those guys were among the most active posters, confidently dispensing advice on how to find, marry and maintain successful relations with these girls. And who could doubt their word, given the swaggering success of their pursuits and marriages? Fortunately, this report is one of the “alternative” endings where things work out right, our hero doesn’t die, and they live happily ever after.  :D

Maybe I’m one of the few write one/visit one/marry one (wovomo: new acronym!) that lived to tell about it. I married the first and only Russian girl I met. Isn’t that amazing? Worse, she didn’t have any children, hadn’t been married or in LTRs before, etc. Maybe it’s ridiculous that things have worked out great for us, but maybe not; maybe that wovomo thing, when it clicks, is the way to go. Any other wovomo gold medal winners out there?

It seems to have become fashionable on RWD to say that women are the same the world over and all the same things are required to have a happy marriage with FSUW as with AW. Based on my experience, I beg to differ. After ten years I can say with near-certainty there is not a single AW anywhere in the country that is anything like my wife. I know the women at work, I know the wives of the guys at work, I know the wives from the local neighborhoods, and I know the wives from my previous life with my ex-AW. It has become clear I could never have found a woman like my wife in the US. They just don’t exist. And mine is better! You can take that to the bank. She says and does things for me that make other men weep with envy and their wives grimace while trying to cover their husbands’ eyes and ears (he he!).

Ulyana is a fully certified CCCP Hotkova: light hair, blue-gray eyes, creamy white skin, soft feminine features, slender waist and long shapely legs … mmm. She’s every bit as beautiful now, even more so, than when we met. She’s like a flower, thriving and blossoming in the spring sun, spraying pheromones like sprinkler drops everywhere she goes. Once or twice a year, someone asks if we are newlyweds. Apparently no one expects a wife to be affectionately hanging on her husband after a couple years in the house together.

After ten years, I can’t resist trying to give a thumbnail of what being married to this girl is like. I will say this: if American men really knew, they’d all be on transatlantic flights first thing the next morning. If ever there was a “Poster-Girl” for what all this Russian-wife fuss is about, my wife is that girl. She possesses all those sought-after characteristics effortlessly blended in one package. She’s beautiful, feminine, lively, playful, smart, educated, attentive, affectionate, sensual, emotional and passionate. She’s a frisky filly willingly tamed by the right rider. She’s home-oriented, conservative, and wants her man to be strong, to be the leader, to take care of business and make sure the train doesn’t come off the rails. She’s sweet, tender and wants to be the best wife. If you are the man, she likes to please. So if anyone still asks you, “Why don’t you just marry an AW?” my wife is the answer.

Congratulations on your milestone. You've every right to be proud and gloat. But, if memory serves you are not being exactly truthful here and that was the reason for your somewhat "abrupt" departure then wasn't it?

Why would I inject this into what would appear as seemingly to come, a very interesting TR? Because of the second bolded part of your statement. I find it very disconcerting that you would relish in the failed marriages of others. Pretty classless way to start out a trip report, wouldn't you say?

You have 10 years obviously, you're doing something right. However, you should remember several of those marriages past the 10 year mark as well.

Thanks, Trav! I liked when you referred to your "disproportionately hot" wife. Man, I know all about that  ;)

Thanks sund! Your status is "committed." Are you in the K-1 visa process now? If yes, that's gotta feel exciting.

Where is your part 2, mentioned in your first post?
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

Actually StevieJ, I'll  be going through the K-3 process with no hurry.  I am going to live in the Ukraine and my fiancee and I will be married in her country come November.  I am retired military, so I have the economic means to do so and her family couldn't be happier that their daughter is staying home.  I couldn't be any happier myself.  I look forward to my 10 year anniversary like you, big guy.  Best wishes.

... I am going to live in the Ukraine...

Good luck, but DON'T call it "THE" Ukraine.  :cluebat:

Slightly  :offtopic: , but what was the TV coverage of the Olympics like elsewhere in this regard?  I must confess that I got very sick and tired of hearing about athlete X or swimmer Y from "The Ukraine" in every single broadcast (both in New Zealand and Australia).

I couldn't agree more. This habit has mainly developed around these parts, from what I've seen, on the basis of peeing in the local RW's pockets when they claim they're no different. They're different, very different.

 The Starbucks Guy

I like this story because it illustrates what happens to me all the time when I’m with Ulyana. There’s a Starbucks I go by frequently when I’m roaming about on business, and, being a coffee junkie, I often stop there. Of all the Starbucks I’ve ever been to, they have one particular employee that is just not up to Starbucks standards. When you enter, he wanders to the counter slowly, looks at you with a stone-faced expression, and finally, he’ll grudgingly say, “Yeah?” That’s all. He shows none of the usual bubbly eagerness of Starbucks baristas. This has gone on for three years and I’ve actually become irritated by it, wishing he’d quit or get fired. Well, for the first time just the other day I stopped in with Ulyana in tow. This guy is at the counter. And what happens? He smiles. He talks. While trying to pretend he’s talking to both of us but looking at her he says, “So, how’s your day going?” Ulyana pleasantly replies, “Fine, thank you.” We order three items and take our drinks to the condiment bar to get crème. As we turn to leave, still smiling he says, “You folks have a good afternoon, and thanks for choosing Starbucks.”

We get in the car and I’m just dumbfounded. Turning to Ulyana I tell her about this guy, and how, in three years I’ve never seen him talk to or smile at anyone, not a customer nor fellow worker, until today. She giggles and says; “That’s because my man has the best taste in women!” She’s says I am a genius because I found and married “the best girl in the world,” which she is proudly certain she is. She’s right about that.

Looking back over the last ten years, I am simply astonished at how things have worked out. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a marital experience like the one I’m having. Ulyana is off the scale on every wife metric there is. You cannot marry an AW and have a marriage like mine. That’s a scientific fact. Only a Russian girl can be for a man what my wife is to me. There are none others in the world. And it keeps getting better. Honestly, I sometimes wonder if she is the product of a secret Soviet lab experiment that got loose. Maybe she’s not Ulyana, maybe she is Fem-001 and Putin is wondering where she is. She is so sweet and tender it almost defies description. And while indulging me completely she is ardently sensual.

We have an absolutely wonderful time together. As the years go by, our connections with other people and activities continue to diminish because we are so content with just us. It’s as though we live in our own universe and find nothing lacking. One time after a little embrace, there was a tear in her eye and I asked, “Baby, what’s the matter?” She said, “I couldn’t bear it if anything ever happened to you. You are everything for me.” I said, “Baby, don’t worry about it. I’m immortal.” Big smile. And the rest I won’t explain...  :)

This is not “soul mates.” Saying soul mates is too tame; it’s just not sexual enough. Ulyana is a highly sensual woman, more like a lioness in heat. Does that sound like soul-mates? No, no one is soul-mates with a lioness in heat. It’s stronger, more alive, more earthy, more visceral, more exciting. Imagine a lioness in heat wearing a pink apron and high heels with her Red Diploma bringing you your dinner; that’s Ulyana.

Coda

So there is it, ten years!  :clapping:   :clapping:   :clapping: . For you other married guys out there, you know where I’m coming from. I wish all the best to you and your lovely wives in the years to come. For you guys just starting out or still searching, I wish you to find your girl. I believe she is out there waiting for you to find her. Good luck!

Damn fine letter StevieJ!  Best letter and most eloquent letter I have ever read.  That's the kind of stuff that needs to be imprinted in this forum.  God bless you sir and your wife.
