Although it's not actually a "funny" as far as actual names go, I still remember a great one from my time as a life insurance administrator.  One of my tasks was to confirm dates of birth and name changes on policies as people sent in proof of age etc.  Imagine my surprise when I received a copy of a marriage certificate show that Leslie Williams had married Leslie Williams - and, believe it or not, they were born on the same day (different hopsitals, though)!  I thought that maybe someone was yanking my chain, so I rang them - got hold of his brother, who told me it was the joke of the century within the families when they started going out and compared their details.
