Finnair Airways Great rates

GOB posted this one.
Thought I'd put in the Services forum too if that's OK.
Best ticket prices I've seen in years.

I have been using Finnair for years to get to the Baltics and occasionally Russia.

They have more seat space generally than most other European airlines. Many economy seats are more like 'premium economy'.

All in all, I have always found Finnair pretty good. So much so, that when hunting flights on Expedia or wherever, if Finnair is maybe £50 more expensive than Aeroflot or others, I will choose them.

I do the same with Lufthansa. Scandinavian and German airlines generally work as intended - as do the cars. Its the mentality in those countries that stuff works. That means flights are generally on time, and your plans go as intended.

I was once delayed 23 hours and diverted via Moscow because I chose some Aeroflot and KLM routes that, in hindsight were unlikely to work. Since then I try to fly German, Scandinavian or American if possible. Virgin are great too. I never use British Airways - totally pants.
