Tver dating agency?!!

Hello everybody.

I am new to this board and was hoping you could help me. In the passed I have tried an agency and I was lucky to find out they were writing letters themselves. Now I am more careful then before. It seems that a lot of agencies who are recommended to be honest are playing with their clients money too. However, I decided not to give up yet and by searching the Internet I came to a site called Tverromance. Browsing their site I stumbled to a few profiles who were very interesting to me. After failure in the Ukraine a couple of months ago I am now planning a trip to Russia for this summer. Although the women I am interested in are young(age difference 20/22) I thought maybe it's worth to visit them, since I am in Russia anyway. My questions are the following:

Has anybody had experiences with this agency?

The age difference bothers me a bit. I was attracted to the pictures first and noticed the age later. If the ladies were in their thirties I would still be interested. One of them has a child which is no problem either. For the men that used this agency, how do the women respond to an age difference like 20 years? I know I always dated younger women but 20 years seems a lot to me.

One more thing, the prices are above average because they are arranging everything. Is it possible just to walk in and use their services in contacting the women?

Hi Marc,

I can honestly tell you from my own experience that Tver Romance is a great agency to work with if that is the route that you so choose.  I met my Fiancee' with them and as a matter of fact I just got off of the phone with them about an hour ago. 

You will find that Natasha, the Agencies General Manager to be honest, trustworthy and more than willing to help you in any way possible.  And the other ladies who work there like Lyuba and Olga go out of their way to make your experience as  pleasant and worthwhile as you want it to be.

Even though they seem to be on the higher side price wise I have always believed that you get what you pay for.  I am positive that they will help you even if you just "walk in".  They will never try to pressure you into purchasing any service that you do not want as they know and respect that it is you who is in charge of your future, not them.

They have done a fantastic job at screening the ladies and their clientele is second to none.  They have a wide variety of women of all ages from all different backgrounds and I am sure that you will find someone who appeals to you.

I will tell you that my experience with this agency was not good.
 
Last spring we did as Noleman eluded to and "walked in". I took four good and sincere men with me into the office of Tver Romance. Introduced myself and the four men to the two ladies who said they were the owners. The ladies were sweet and excited to meet these guys and seemed interested in getting their business.
 
I told the owners that when we bring a group of guys who are part of our tour to an agency we would like to get a discounted price for any private meetings that could be arranged. I told the owners that we were paying $20 for a meeting from another agency we were working with in town and the owner said "we can do that" to which the guys started going thru catalogs and looking on-line as to the ladies in the agency. I had lot's to do so left the agency and the guys stayed there. Over the next 25-45 minutes the guys had all made their list and each gave the owners his list of ladies that he would like to meet. Everyone swapped cell phone numbers and the guys left while the owners started calling the ladies.
 
About three hours later while in a meeting I get a call from one of these guys telling me he has a meeting arranged to meet one of the ladies but the owner told him the price for the meeting was $50 and what happened to the $20 per meeting we were told. I told this man their must be a mistake and that I would call and get everything worked out. As I was in a meeting at the time I did not place this call then but was going to in the next 20-30 minutes when I could excuse myself. Well about 4 minutes later one of the other four guys who were at this office earlier walked up to me and told me he had just gotten a call from Tver Romance and that he has a meeting in 1 hour and lady at the agency told him the price for the meeting was $50. I excused myself from the meeting I was in and this client and myself walk outside where I phoned Tver Romance and got Natasha  on the phone. I told Natasha I had just had two guys tell me that they were being charged $50 for these private meetings but we were quoted $20. Natasha said "We never agreed to $20".  I said to Natasha "When I told you that we were paying $20 per meeting with one of the local agencies you said 'We can do that'". Natasha again said she never agreed to $20 a meeting. I asked Natalia to hold on for a second. With the client who was standing next me I asked "Did you hear Natasha say "We can do that" when I told her we were paying $20 to another local agency" to which this client said yes. I then went back to the phone and told Natalia that not only I heard her say that one of the guys who was in the office with us at the time also heard you say this. To which Natalia replied "he is mistaken".  I told Natalia thank you, I didn't need to hear anymore.
 
I then told each of the four men that we were mistaken and that what we thought we heard we really didn't hear and if they wanted to meet these ladies it would cost them $50 each. None of the men wanted to continue to do business with this agency. I don't think it was the cost of the meeting that made these guys decide not to do business with Tver Romance, it was the manner in which they did business that made them decide to do any business with this agency.
 
I stopped and thought about it and it looks like their could have easily have been five or six meetings that could have taken place. I have to think if Tver Romance really had their clients (these ladies) best interest at heart, if they really wanted these ladies to meet a good foreign man, they sure weren't showing it. If they did not get the money they wanted, they were not going to allow these women to meet these men who had shown an interest in them.  And these were not men who were writing these ladies from some far away country, these men were IN Tver.
 
I would never recommend this agency to any of our clients. When we visit Tver in June you can be sure every man will know the previous experience we had with this agency.

Thanks for your reply. Two stories and both different. That's not gonna make it easier. I suppose when you pay the full package, the owner is satisfied and will do what she writes on her site. On the other hand, Jack, you are completely right. If she  really had the best interest for her clients, this was an golden opportunity. I always read on the Net that the complaint is that at the end the men don't visit the women. Now, like you said there were four man in Tver to introduce to the women and because of changing the agreement to a discount, she let this chance go. No money for her agency, no chance for her women clients to meet the men and damage to the reputation of the agency when the word is spread. Nice way to do business and a contradiction to what she claimes.

Jack, maybe you can give me the URL form the other agency in Tver so I can see if the women I am interested in are listed there? Thanks,

Marc you have four agencies in Tver to my knowledge, two are good, two not so good.  BeHappy and Tver Romance I could not recommend. 

Lifetime Partners and Richards agency Tver Angels would be the two I would recommend.

LTP has lot's of good and sincere ladies to choose from. Richard is kind of the new kid on the block. His ladies will also be sincere but I think he does not have a great number of ladies to choose from as he is still trying to grow his new agency.

Marc we are currently rebuilding our website & changing a few things so our website at present does not feature a lot of ladies. Sorry to say. We do however have a great deal more that will pop up as soon as we launch the new site hopefully by the end of this month or middle of next or sooner if I can get it finished.

I will say that all our services are 100% available & we can introduce you to plenty of ladies even though the website at present doesn't feature too many.

As for Tver Romance I think you might reconsider. As much as I have a personal fondness for Natasha one of our clients caught them redhanded in a phoney letter writing scam. No matter what other good things they may have done they have been known to be underhanded. I won't mention the clients name here as he is a boardmember & if he chooses to reveal the facts, I leave it to him.

In my opinion if your an honest agency, your honest in all your dealings, not just those you pick & choose. My agency is 100% open & above board & you will get the best prices for your trip & you will never get lied to or recieve phoney letters through us. That is my personal guarrantee. I have several clients already paid to come in May & June & I'm sure we can accomidate you as well. You'll find we are a cut above the rest.

On top of that I work & live in Tver, I am not an absentee owner, I oversee all dealings with my company & take personal pride in giving western service at Russian prices!!!

Sorry to hear about you and your clients problems with Tver Romance.  I feel fortunate that I have not experienced anything like that with them. 

But I do agree that one can not be selective with whom and how they run ones business.  The only advice I could offer to Jack would be "caveat emptor".

It looks like a lot of agency owners can't resist the temptation to make a quick buck.  I believe eventually it will hit them like a boomerang.  

Thanks for the tips. I looked at LTP and I have to say the prices are one of the best I have seen so far, I can only hope it is not to good to be true. BTW Rvr I am not in a hurry so I will check your site later. Up till now, I can see you are still building it. Surprise me with your coming site:D

We'll do our best but we have run into a few snags. Might have to change directions somewhat but we'll get it sorted soon I hope.
