Probabilities - 21 yr male finding a 33+ match?

Greetings, I'm a newbie around here and a follower for a while.

So...I've dated cougars (their current age range 32-45, I'm 21) for the most part, except for a few young ladies that I can count with one hand. 95% of them are Latin Americans (literally from LatAm, not "Hispanic-Americans") and were skeptical about dating someone younger due to the age difference and because their culture has "conservative values" . After a while they realized I'm not a typical college klutz in regards to where I'm going in life and gave it a chance.  I have a career, a college degree, am mature and while not a 10 I'm enough of a charmer to have dated 10s before.

I was going to ask if something similar is going to occur when looking for a Russian/FSU partner, but my hindsight said yes...so there's no point in asking this. The answer could be being friends with them, contact them for a while so they can be comfortable and say "Lets try and work it out".

Past posters have wrote about the time/money it takes to write to ladies along with the translation/contact fees incurred in the process. Taking into consideration that I'll have a higher rejection rate than average, I'll ask the same....how can I mitigate the cost? Most of my exs had "I'll date my age and older only"...but ended up with someone half their age or close to it.

Finding one's other half abroad will never be cheap since one has to make sure the partner is "the one". At the same time it does not have to cost an arm and a leg that it will potentially cost me if I try talking to every 35+ yr old woman.  Thanks in advance to anyone who has replied.

Meeting a lady(ies) will cost no more than some elbow grease, a plane ticket, an apartment, food, and misc dating expenses.


I honestly don't have a clue as to how well you'd be received so coming up with a probability hypothesis is beyond my capability.  Being perceived as responsible/mature/taken seriously would probably be your largest hurdle.


I'd suggest writing lots of letters and then gauge your response level of real interest.  Stay away from the pay per letter sites and go with some of those listed in the FSUW 101 thread in this section (pinned at the top).


Good luck with it... who knows? you could become the poster child (pun obviously intended) for the Reverse Age Gap Phenomena!

True, it will take some money to find a partner in addition to the costs incurred such as travel + expenses.
I'm ready for that, just not spending most of it sending messages without a response. The post at the top with the websites helped a lot. I was always weary of agencies since one never knew what occurs behind the scenes and paying just to send a message seems ridiculous. The hurdle is a big one at first, but with time it can be overcome...that if the lady is not as stubborn as a rock.

I'm trying out Mamba with Google Translate, and I'm getting a few replies here and there. Another service that is location-based (they use your GPS when using it from a cellphone) is Badoo. Not as generous as Mamba but most women on there are real too. Time to take out my template and start tweaking it!

Hahaha, nice pun! I sure wouldn't mind being the poster child. It will give me more exposure and reach capability.

P.S - I'm trying to find someone in Lithuania/Belarus....the WM/FSUW ratio is low compared to Russia and Ukraine. However I'm open if the one turns out to live in RUS/UKR.

What is your goal?   
 
   -   Marriage and family:  If so,  RW want security.  Can your job support a woman who will need a year or so before she can work in America?  Babies take lots of money?  RW will want periodic trips to the FSU to visit family and friends?

  -   Money:   Few RW have enough money to support a gigolo.

 -   Fun:  If you want fun, keep doing what you are doing now.  There is no need to go to the FSU to find women for fun.
 
BTW, if you are concerned about the cost of writing FSUW, this venture is not for you.  Cost of correspondence is minimal compared to the cost of taking a trip.  And marriage is $$$$.

All i can say is people have this idea of that they are different. There all humans. Sometimes you get lucky and find a great one.
