How many FSUW think like this?
« on: December 02, 2012, 10:02:23 AM »
I just thought I would share this young ladys idea of money. This question and answer was taken from a 27 year old who had sent me a wink.

If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?
10 million dollars is not much money. No investment or apartments with a no nazhivesh. And of course in luxury yachts and diamonds can not buy

Seems to me as if she is joking with her answer...  whatever the heck a nazhivesh is..

It seems a google translation of a phrase composed in a pathetic attempt to show off. She was hardly being serious when writing this.

She does say that she is sarcastic.  She says that on her profile.

How would you describe your ideal partner?
I am looking for someone who has a great personality and knows how to have a good time. He must be able to make the best of any situation as my friends and I can have a good time no matter where we end up. This person also needs to have a good sense of humor and not get offended by my sarcasm. He must also be outgoing and spontaneous. I am looking for someone who I can be friends with first and just have a great time hanging out together

But....I have heard this from Americans too. The ones who buy the lottery tickets. They will say "It is only like 5 million after taxes"

It always amazes me how many people go crazy about the lottery when it gets over 100 million. It is like winning 10 million just isn't worth it.

I doubt that anything in a profile will ever top this one:

Come on, the view upon us (FSUW) as some kind of rare species that would not be even satisfied with 10 millions have to attribute to mental development  ... (and I have been very generous here).

And if add to that we (FSUW) are from post-communist countries, its just anecdote on its own.

I never bothered to reply to this young lady.

I did see that her account has been deleted by the manager....so I guess it's safe to say it was a fake profile/scammer

Gut instinct translations when such a profile is paired with very hot photos:

- "ideal partner." Did she really use that term? Sometime, 8 to 10 years from now she'll be ready for her first marriage. Not now, dude, not now. Pinch your credit card tightly between your balls and keep on walking. This one isn't worth the ATM fees.

- "My friends and I" paired up with "ideal partner" and "hanging out" means that a Western man who tags along should be ready to buy drinks and food for others. She isn't dating, she is there for a good time WITH HER FRIENDS and he should be happy that he (and his credit card) was invited.

- "Must be able to make the best of any situation." Translation: We'll set the agenda, which might change at any moment, you are there to smile and pay the bar and cab tab. If I send you home alone because the guy at the table near the window is closer to my age and looking hot about now, you "must be able to make the best of any situation." Surely you can find a cab without me translating.

- "Must be able to make the best of any situation." Additional translation: Sometimes I make out with a hot guy on the dance floor. That shouldn't bother you since we're friends first, remember? He's my age and you're over 40, so don't blame me for having some fun. When we get back to your apartment I'll be tired, but there is another party tomorrow night. Maybe you'll get lucky then as long as my grandmother doesn't become ill in the village.

-  "just have a great time hanging out together." The proper translation of something along the lines of должен пойти с нами
between a young Russian like this and a WM twice her age: You should bring a credit card as it will be needed to entertain my friends and I. How do I know that this is the correct translation? Because I've had Russian daughters! When I'm invited, before departing the home with daughters my wife makes sure I carry a cc in my wallet...the girls love me but they didn't invite me along to an event because of my ballroom dancing skills.

It boggles my mind that some guys look for FSU ladies in nightclubs and bars. Those are the last places to do a serious search for a wife that you plan to uproot and plant in a new country/cultural setting. Do you think it okay for her to maintain a clubbing lifestyle once she lives in your country or is she expected to go cold turkey and become a 1950's housewife the day she arrives at your doorstep?

The gal needs another decade to sow her oats and settle down. At this stage this girl strikes me as anything but marriage material.

I know you guys aren't going to believe this, but this woman sounds very much like the gal I am committed to.  Our start was just a put on.  She is very sarcastic and is always telling me off.  But underneath she has a very strong set of values and a very loyal heart.

When we first met, she asked me if I was going to kidnap her and sell her into prostitution and slavery.   I didn't initially understand that her sarcastic comment was meant as a defense mechanism.

As she got to know me, her defenses came down.  While I always carry the credit card, she is extremely sensitive that we get good value for our money and that we never spend excessively. OMG!  Seeing that in a woman I am dating makes me want to spend more!! Haha.

The gal comes from humble beginnings and is someone that I am proud to be with.  All that from a bunch of sarcasm to begin with.  As Dave says, I like this girl more and more.  So I can related to how your woman presents herself.
Kissing girls is a goodness.  It beats the hell out of card games.  - Robert Heinlein
