Hello, I have not been around here in a while but this thread practically forces me to reply to it.  I never met Kevin personally as he usually winters in Florida but his agency helped me find my current wife and we have kids to prove its still paying dividends. 

I used the agency to not only do the letters thing but handle my transportation from Odessa airport (Yuri with his chevy that runs on propane), book my apartment and arrange meetings with ladies including my wife.  I think it was a package.  I am obviously biased based on my outcome but the whole experience was fulfilling and I felt they tried their best to accomodate me.  They even helped me arrange my last minute trip to Yalta with my future wife.

I can't say whether the average Joe should try to get to Odessa from kiev on his own but it was a breeze for an old (I was 30 but it was my 10th time or something to the FSU) veteran like me.  If they still use Yuri, I would say it probably costs more than the average transport (since the agency gets a cut above the market taxi rate) but he's worth every penny spent.  I can vouch that he can drive long distances at any hour. 

Actually the best way to Kherson is taking the train from Kiev.  When you consider the time you have to wait for a connection to Odessa, then the 3-4 hours drive from there and all the risk entailed.  The worst but cheapest way is the bus. You can also fly to Simferopol on UIA (or at least you used to be able to). 

Kherson is fine and being so close to the Crimea gives you many things to visit when you do the inevitable return trips.

Kevin: Can I politely suggest that you make a couple of changes to your site?

On your referrals/comment page you tell us about the ladies, scammers and pro daters you have removed, but this is appended with ‘Information Current as of 3/3/2005’. That doesn’t look good.

Also, as I none American/Canadian I think I could be forgiven for thinking your site only caters for North American men, and ladies looking to move to that continent.

e.g. On your ladies page you advise them ‘Clients of our agency are men of America and Canada’.

For your matchmaking service you state that you will ask the ladies:

Do you plan on improving your education in America?
Do you have any family or friends in the USA?
Have you seriously thought about life in the USA?

I think you may understand my point ……

Actually the best way to Kherson is taking the train from Kiev.  When you consider the time you have to wait for a connection to Odessa, then the 3-4 hours drive from there and all the risk entailed.  The worst but cheapest way is the bus.

The problem is that when I arrive Kiev, the next bus to Kherson / the next train to Kherson / the next flight to Odessa are around the same time - about 4-5 hours after arriving Kiev.

If I go in the weekend of 19-22 February, I will stay in Kiev for a night after visiting the Fashion show (work related) before heading to Kherson ,,,,,,,,,

The referral pages on most agencies sites are not verifiable so I stop added clients contact a few years ago when I say my referrals showing up on competitor pages and went to a more active way of talking to current and past clients.  Here is a cut from the referral page.

We also have client for all over the world. I do cater mostly to US Passport holders as I more familiar with their laws.  But I have work with clients from other countries.

Many agencies post on their site referral's and comment from "clients" that can or can not be verified.  List of names and address and wonderful stories. But how do you really now what you are reading is real. What about the complaints or horror stories.

Ok, I'm just going to ignore Spiro. I'm sure by know everyone knows his character.  (three chins, I love his imagination) Glad to know he left Kherson. 

Back to the subject of this thread.

I've seen the demand for cheaper letters to the ladies.  So I have decrease by prices down to below $5.00 round trip with translations for the paid memberships. see http://www.khersongirls.com/membership/  This is below my cost so I need value to break even.

I'm keeping the Apartments at $45 per day. (3 day min). for the guys on a tight budget.

Can't do anything about the taxi rate for our taxi's. We use better cars and reliable drivers that we guarantee.

As Jack says, Kevin and his agency does a lot more than the typical agency. I experienced a few agencies over the years. Some keep hundreds of women and don't know or care if they are sincere. They also leave it up to the guy to figure out whether the women are sincere. Other agencies make an effort to help with your success. Kevin's agency is among the latter.
   As for costs, we were fortunate back in the 90's and early 2000's when the US and other developed countries had it made compared to developing countries. Back then, I was like, "I have to retire here someday and live cheaply." Now, prices are up and incomes are higher in these countries. In comparison, more US/European guys have less job stability/money and even some end up living in the FSU teaching English on a low salary to meet FSU women.
