Taxi service from Kiev to Vinnitsa

I am taking my second trip to Vinnitsa in two weeks and was wondering if anyone could recommend a reliable taxi service from KBP to Vinnitsa.  I found this site http://www.kiev-odessa.com/index.php/kiev-vinnitsa-taxi-airport-transfer.html and they seem to have a reasonably priced service, has anyone here used them before?


I am meeting my friend for the second time. We met two years ago and have been taking things slow and easy. I got pretty lucky, she was number two of two girls that I went to meet several years ago.  She speaks fluent English with almost no accent, so communication is excellent. I would not personally have it any other way. I cannot even imagine having to have a translator tag a long the entire time.


She found me a nice apartment with WiFi and all the amenities for $50 a night. So pretty excited once again! I am a sucker for 5'9" blondes with hair down to the waist.




As for marriage potential, we will see how things go. She has really lightened up and opened up over time, so things are pretty good right now, but they can also change in an instant which I know all too well!

The price are very correct for such service. You would pay probably 30 % less being a local in my opinion.

I agree, the city is pretty dull and the dreary winter weather doesn't help much either. And yes, you are right! There are beautiful girls everywhere! I was able to take some early morning and evening walks to an internet cafe and could not believe all the beautiful girls walking everywhere. Definitely no shortage there!

My friend just reported that the city is covered in snow. I am forgoing my annual Christmas day snowboarding trip to see her. It's definitely a better trade off!

Yes, I can...THREE weeks with my hot, blue-eyed blonde (fiancee) in Lugansk, from before western Christmas to after Orthodox Christmas.

I am not that lucky yet, but I have been married before so I am taking it a little slower this time. I want someone a little more active in their life, someone to snowboard with in the winter and surf in the summer, with beauty and brains to boot! Is that too much to ask? I can't find that at home.

Just curious, but is your girl fluent in English? Do you speak Russian? That is my downfall, but I got lucky with a fluent English speaker. That was the key for us.

Just curious, but is your girl fluent in English? Do you speak Russian? That is my downfall, but I got lucky with a fluent English speaker. That was the key for us.

My N is totally fluent. She's a children's (through mid teens) English teacher. When I settle in with her, after marriage, she will be my Russian/Ukrainian teacher. A few years ago, I tried a couple of relationships with very marginal English speakers. Although the women were pleasant enough, we were incapable of effective enough communication to develop deep feelings for each other.

My friend who lives in Ukraine told me 3 grv per kilometer.
It is roughly what i paid with my GF one time for a round trip from the airport to the city and her being dropped at home (8 additionnals kilometers). I paid 110 grv for 35 km. Of course i tipped him generously.
If if it is night, it is more expansive.

Well, I booked the taxi service much to the chagrin of my girl, who does not trust too many taxi drivers. Are tourists getting robbed and or disappearing?  Has anyone seen the Hostel movie's? LOL!

She booked my taxi last time but the driver is having auto issues and she is using someone else. It will cost me $80 for the service and then $130 each way. So bascialy an agency takes their cut of $80 and the driver gets the difference.

My first experience was quite interesting. After the driver picked me up at KBP, we were speeding happily down the freeway, pedal to the metal, and had just rounded a curve when we barreled through a speed trap, i.e. several of Kiev's finest had a radar gun sitting upon a tripod and nailed us big time, a few seconds later with sirens wailing and lights a flashin! we pulled over. As the driver got out and proceeded to start a lengthy and heated discussion with the officer , I was thinking to myself, this is not happening now, not to me, not here! and after a time the driver I assumed received a pink ticket or warning, but since he didn't speak English and I don't speak much Russian, it was a logical conclusion. 

The drive to Vinnitsa was fairly uneventful and boring as hell. It was very disorienting not just due to the fact I had been awake for a day and half, but because although it was midday, it was cold. dark and dreary and had seemed like it was in the middle of the night. I was able to nod off for a few hours and upon waking I saw lights in the distant and the driver informed me that we had arrived.

After driving a short distance through town, we arrived at her apartment. I called her to come down and when I saw her I was completely floored! She was more beautiful in person than in her photos, which by the way since she models part time, had sent me a very large collection of photos from her portfolio. We also Skyped many times but I never saw her form he waist down and I had been teasing her and asking if she had legs under her kitchen table. Not the table legs, her own legs Ha Ha!

She does accounting full time for a photo studio and travels to many countries for photo shoots, mostly summer wear for some catalogs. So then I got happily out of the car and was standing in awe of this 5'9" curvy blue eyed blonde with hair down to her waist, my jaw dropped and as I was attempting to play it cool on the drool factor. we just stood there in disbelief that I had actually made the trip and after looking each other up and down for a few seconds, we  gave each other a mutual hug and it was all over at that point for me!

After I got checked into my apartment just around the corner from hers, we went to eat at a very tasty and affordable restaurant which served us some type of sausages and other veggies. About half way though the dinner after breaking the ice I went in for the kill and put my hand on top of hers and luckily for me she squeezed back in acknowledgement. She told me later my timing was perfect! Not too fast not too slow!

The rest of the trip was a discovery and learning about each other process and it turned out quite enjoyable. We did lose a little communication for a few months at a time over the past two years, not because of me though. I am not sure what was going on with her, but I will find out in another week. At any rate, I kept my pursuit of her and something changed and she stated that she wanted to continue the relationship and wanted to see me ASAP, so I happily obliged. I think maybe she was dating someone and it did not work out and she realized she had a nice guy already, and in fact that was what I had received in her email and phone conversations in our past 6 months communication. She was in Dubai modeling a few months ago and was texting me, which was quite nice of her.

Ok, sorry for the novel and life story here, but thought I would share my first travel experience. It was not all roses, and we had a few rough bumps along the way, but they seemed to have smoothed out and hopefully we can continue to progress. I have already done the marriage thing and it was too fast and I made too many mistakes, so better to take it a little slower this time.

I have been married several times, and have lived with three women not including my two wives, this includes several American girls. a Colombian and the last girl was Japanese.  My personal reasons for searching in the Ukraine are several fold. one is the education level of the majority of women I have come into contact with, the beauty and the athletic abilities. I had this idea in my head of finding an educated and beautiful woman who likes outdoor activity, aside from the occasional home life activities and unfortunately have not found it in the USA, South America or Asia. So whats left? I mean besides staying single? I amazed my girl by going to the local market and cooking her dinner a few nights in a row and that was the icing on the cake for me. I mean until she found the new guy, anyway, LOL!

I learned to stay positive regardless of the outcome. Life is too short to worry and stress, especially about women. Well you can blame 6 million years of evolution on that one! None of us are immune!

Thanks!  She just gave me the weather report and there is now 1 ft of snow there. I found a webcam and just took a look, and she wasn't exaggerating! I live the SW, so we just started wearing sweaters only two days ago where I live. I am not used to that kind of weather except when I go snowboarding, and then I have to drive 2.5 hours north to the ski resort. Looks like I need a new pair of galoshes. I don't think tennis shoes are going to cut it!


She said that people are just leaving their cars where they sit. Well, that's all fine since everything is within walking distance from her apartment. What worries me is the weather on arrival there and possible delays etc. The last time I went, I got stuck in the airplane in Germany for 7 hours until they could deice the plane. The weather took them by surprise and they were unprepared. LOL! I was the only one on board smart enough to have brought food and snacks, so I was very popular that day, but do not wish to repeat it.
