Russian Women and their GFs

Russian woman GF’s can be an important resource and aid to your relationship.  On the other hand, they can be one of your worse nightmares.

There is an old Russian saying that goes something like this, “Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.”  This is so true when it comes to RW’s GFs.  With the friends she chooses to associate with one can get great insight into the type of RW one has.

RW are very social. They have a very strong bond with their family and friends.  When they arrive in your homeland, most will have a desire to connect with someone or a group of RW.  This is natural for them.  With the pressure to learn and speak a new language, plus learning to cope with everything that is different, RW like to unwind by talking to someone in their native tongue.  In most instances, this is girl talk about similar experiences in a new country or sharing experiences of the old country.  In this way GFs are a blessing in that they will help relieve the pressures of life in a strange land.  That translates to a happy wife and a happy husband.

Many RW will often associate with other RW of the same age and length of time in their new homeland.  Sub-dividing it further, they will make links with those that are of similar nature and level in life.  Because of this, much can be gained by seeing what plane your RW’s circle of friends lies in.

As with any blessing, there is a flip side.  Like I have said many times, RW are traditional.  This linked with their strong need to socialize can bring forth some other old fashion attributes like gossiping, bragging, keeping up with the Joneses and the like.  Often, with strong-minded RW, this is par for the course and it will have little bearing on her thinking.  However, those that are easily influenced by others, this can be detrimental to the WM/RW relationship if the WM doesn’t know how to handle it.  In this case choose your friends wisely or one will be making more work and heartache for oneself.

You are sounding very much like an agency ad man spouting all the hype that has been refuted time and time again.  You might want to establish your bona fides here before lecturing us further.

chipmonk ~ I tend to agree with what you wrote - but unfortunately you've picked the wrong board to state an opinion that runs contrary to that of the 500+ post "members."  These gents tend to know everything there is about RW and aren't afraid to tell you.

RacerX, only 122 time complain over the 500+ post members and you will become one of them...

Of maybe when you will reach yourself the 500 post, you will complain over the 750+ post members...

If you have problem with living forum, choose a other one... you have plenty of forum who have only a few post month... you will be happy there, nobody will be 50+ post members

Generalization verse Looking for the Varieties

Ronin an ex-mod from RWG wrote this. I am sure if you looked at his site you would see it posted there. I am not sure Chipmonk is Ronin or some guy just plagiarizing his writings for what ever reason. 

As in any generalized statements about what RW or AM are like or about their friends there is a whole lot of room for latitude and exceptions to the rule. As example to say most RW MOB's are beautiful could be considered true as why else would a man go through all the trouble of travel and the INS hassles to choose an unattractive one? Yet we all know there are plenty of MOB's that are by most people's standards just average looking.

But face it if YOU were given the task to describe RW in general what would your description? BTW there is a dandy thread there by Ronin on GCG's so he is not just throwing 'cheer blossoms' in the air about RW.

I respect Ronin as I do JB and Jet. All of you guys have had some real time living with Russian women in marriage and meeting their friends. JB since 2001, Jet since 2004 (?) and Ronin since 2002, Maxx 2003-2003 R.I.P. ( I hardly count and know it)

I had 4 miserable months but I can at least see (if I squinted real hard) in my brief "marriage" the qualities of RW in my Russian ex-wife. What about you guys in your years of happiness?

... i begin feel me a old men when i see these date... Begin quest in 1997, marriage in Juni 1999, divorce in October 2004 and seeking again since... it seem that i am one of the pionier here :huh:...


In these time, almost no forum for help, almost no FSU women with internet, two week for post mail and only a few agency... seem all more easy now for communicate and find information :cool:

Yes - which brings us to TWO important issues.

First is - finding a forum which offers valuable information, as opposed to pablum or agency tripe.

Next is - the guy has to WANT to sort out the good material from the bad - and then APPLY it.

It is still a minefield - just for different reasons.

I don't know who chipmunk is but I pretty much agreed with his whole post even though it is pretty much the same discussion in another topic.

I know if I moved to Russia, I would almost immediately start looking for American/English speaking friends. Speaking another language all day would HAVE to get tedious. I didn't say I was going to BE FRIENDS with every single english person I met..but I WOULD look for those guys to hang out with and choose the good ones to be friends with.
