Flowers…Why are they so important for women?(a Cupid's helper point of view)

 Hello, my dear Gentlemen!
  Well, it is spring outside and flowers are everywhere – on every street of Odessa, You can see a grandmother, who can sell You a nice bouquet of first spring flowers to add some romantic mood to Your date or You can go to some solid and expensive flowers-store and find there passionate roses or tender tulips or other nice flowers. Why do almost all women love flowers so much and why is it so important for them to receive them from their loving men? For almost all of the men, it is the illogical question, they can never get the reasonable answer to. So, let me help You to find out more info of the ‘flowers aspect’.
  In the women’s world, especially here, in Ukraine, women are still very naive and romantic. Even if she pretends to be an aggressive business-lady, deep inside she is hiding a very tender and emotional lady, who was hurt once, that is why she is hiding her inner world so hard. But, still, almost every woman here still believes in the fairy-tales, like The Cinderella, for example. She dreams about the Prince on the beautiful white horse, who will come and save her one day… And what did princes do in almost all of the Ukrainian and Russian fairy tales? Protecting the Princess! Killing the bad guys or the dragons, bringing her a ring, a lost shoe, or some other evidence of the feelings. They were DOING, acting – not saying many words, but making many actions. The Prince showed his Princess, that he will take care of her, and proved this in so many ways, that she had no other choice but to answer his feelings! The ideal couple of this romantic stories is – when He is strong, brave, fearless – and She in turn is beautiful, tender, modest and loving.
  And now lets come back to our times… The time of quick money, quick snacks and quick relationships. You can say me – why should I spend my money and energy on a Woman, who can cheat on me, use me or leave me after all these ‘investments’ in her I’ve made! I have heard so many men, asking me this question. And, You know what – not any of them found a Woman, he was dreaming about, because his mind was too busy with these fears and doubts, and his heart was not really ready for serious love-experience.
   But – if You choose the other way – to find the real Princess and to win her heart and soul, let me give You a piece of advice. You can get a princess, only after You become a Prince by Yourself! It doesn’t mean, You have to kill dragons, or bring her diamonds. It means, that You have to take responsibility, to start doing real things – to show her – that You will take care of her – not only in words, but in actions also. It is so simple and so hard at the same time! And after You treat her this way – You will have a back reaction. And even if she turns out not a woman of Your love story, please, believe me, You will have the loving princess in the face of other nice woman – just start giving and You will have 100 times more! This is my own point of view – but hope, it will inspire You, my Dear friends!

Good post! I had to drop what I was doing tonight because I was captivated by your post. So much to comment about the things you laid out for everyone...so if you don't mind, I'd like to offer a few comment to your wonderful post.

Yes. Yes! Yes! I've always found that such an illogical question myself! I do want to find out more info about this *flower aspect* from you. Then afterwards, maybe you can also tell me why dead people like flowers, too. OK?

1. *Fairy tales* Let's get something straight about *Princes* first, OK?. I do hate to disappoint you but maybe you should try another forum. Most of the men here are at least 60+ years past the 'Prince' stage of their lives. The majority of them were born two weeks before Germany surrendered - give or take a couple of weeks.

As a matter of fact, one of the member here who happens to live in California was already an old hat when Gilligan's Island entered it's second season. Or maybe it was The Brady Bunch. No matter. I mean, you wouldn't exactly call a toothless babushka from Odessa a 'Princess' now, would you?

2. Prince on a white horse?!? LOL- sorry...I can't help myself these days....

Will Jabba the Hut on a mule suffice the ladies of Odessa? Or maybe it was Jabba the Mule? You would have to forgive me as sometimes I get confused, you know.

Obewan Kenobe? Gandolf? How about just the mule? We have plenty of those here.

Heck, some of them even marry *back-up ladies*, you know! Do you have plenty of those in Odessa?

In case you were wondering...a masaage is a fruit tree that only grows in the forest where bear likes to pee on. The fruit gets picked and is offerred to the woman of their choice. It's an ancient tradition of courtship during the decades of pyramid building. Some folks who spend a lot of time alone still practice that tradition occasionally.

And *benificial* goes great with mayonnaise from what I hear...

Dear Gentlemen)
It' s very important for me - for a woman to get Ur point of view. Only one thing - I wrote my own opinion - a subjective one - something, which helped me to do my job. I know, my experience in Cupid's helping is too small - just a half of a year. But I am really glad I have 2 happy couples, one one of them is getting married this year.
U can laugh at it or no - some of my friends just changed the way to behave - and got a success in private life. And this is what I really wish U - to be happy and have love in Ur life.
