There is a discussion on another thread about assimilation and culture shock.  That conversation is focused on the foreigner.  This film and the segment hints that there was an adjustment on both sides.

It is disturbing because it does hit close to home.  We can see ourselves in the characters of this drama.

I find the clip less disturbing than many of the stories I've read here.  So, what's the big deal?
