I welcome the application of PUA/game to the FSUW search.  I definitely have failed in certain cases, due to not understanding what was going on.

Statistics: invalid. While there currently is a tight grip, during the years a good number of spammers registered.

Thank you for your commentary.

However i stay on my position firmly.
Even if a good number of spammer registered, say 40%, which is huge :

The rate of success stays around 0.106%. And i really think that only 1 guy on 1000 will get married, in the best case.

Still invalid as you are unable to take in account the unannounced marriages as well as members not bothering to update their profile.

However I admit that the statistic in any case shows why some sites continue to make huge amounts of money. ;D

Pat, did I miss an entire thread that talked about the gal you married, your marriage ceremonies, getting her to France, etc.?

I remember back when you were preparing for your first trip  to Ukraine, when you described in detail the clothes and shoes you were going to take, showed pictures of such, etc.

And now the details and pics of your marriage . . . . ???

Anyway, my best to the two of you.   8)

Congratulations on your marriage, Patagonie.  The best to both of you.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Unannouced marriages yes i cannot take in account.

I have not take in account what profiles say, I HAVE GONE THROUGH ALL POSTS to find if the poster is or not married or almost in the way to be. Of course if he has not updated his posts

Hi ML
You missed nothing. I stayed almost quiet about myself.
I preferred to build, rather than to brag and restart all from the scratch after a possible train wreck.
So since "Operation White Panther" i have built.

My wife, for the moment, seems not  really enthusiastic  about sharing ...  :offtopic:

But on an other hand all writting is always, for a part, autobiographical...

Anyway, again I want to congratulate you in joining the club. May you both spend a life of bliss.

Shadow is questioning your statistics.   People in the past threw out the soft number that only 5% of the men who write RW ever get on an airplane.   I believe it is just a guesstimate, yet many RW have complained about men writing and never showing up.

I am not sure that the term "rate of success" is correct.  It should be "marriage rate" because it is easy to marry a RW.  A vast majority of the 5% men who go  choose not to marry.   The venture or perhaps the women is simply too difficult for them to accept.

So I would guess the marriage rate is less than one percent for those who contact a RW.  Giving credence to your calculations, I could accept a rate of 0.1 - 1.0% .     Now consider that my marriage rate is 200%.  :D

Correct
this is only the "marriage rate".
The success rate for me is more for still married people >7 years, and happy (the most difficult part to assess).

For those who choose not to marry the problem is simple : they are generally not going to live with their GF, with immigration laws there are not many possibilities.
