FSUW but for how much longer?
« on: July 23, 2013, 07:08:23 AM »
I guess as the Soviet Union fell over twenty years ago and the average age of women looking for a partner is 25/35 it will only be a few years before most of the women looking for a partner ( that is the few that will still be searching overseas) will not be classed as "FSUW" ? as they would of never experienced the FSU.
or will that brand name stay with them for the next few centuries?

Im just wondering?

I'd say that it mostly refers to the territory.

They could say RW (Russian women), but then it would mean leaving aside the other ethnicities that were previously part of the SU.  That means, the abbreviation FSUW comprises also the women from Ukraine, Belorus, Kazakhstan and other former Soviet republics. That would be the reason why the abbreviation FSUW is current.

:) This is a famous slogan during the hockey series between USSR and Canada :)

Bad life? No, my life was not that bad. However, I wanted more opportunities in my life, and a comfortable future for myself, so I left.
