I did a search on the forum and found out about visahq.com and gorussian website.  However, what I am trying to do is a bit different so I am not sure how to proceed.

I am in a lucky position to work in Europe right now, in Germany, Poland and Ukraine.  I wish to get a Belarussian tourist visa.

Since I am currently travelling, I do not currently have a fixed address at which I can receive mails.  So, my question is, is there a company I can work with, where I can go to office in one of the above countries, and pick up my passport when the visa is ready?

Thanks for your help!

A Bela visa is issued by the Bela government. You need to find their embassy in one of the countries you are working in, visit them and apply. How long that will take is unknown but I would think that you will be in some place for more than a few weeks to wait for, or pick up, your passport with the visa.

You do not need a permanent address , actually you can just make any address up they never check. I made a Belarus visa only last week , just call in the consulate fill in the form and collect it 4 working days later or you can pay a little extra to collect the same day.

Hi all,

I thought I would respond to this thread about how I got my Belarussian Visa.

I used the services of belarussianvisa.com   .  I think they are based in England.  They charged me US$42 and sent me paperwork and invitation letter by email.  I had to print out the paperwork, fill it out, add my photo to complete the visa application.

It worked and I am in Belarus now.  If you happen to be in a country that does not have Belarussian consulate, you can apply for the visa at the Minsk airport.

Thank you! -zg

Hello, Can you please send more information about this. Can you really apply for a Belarussian visa at Minsk airport? I'm thinking of going to Belarus the next time I go to Russia but I've heard it can be difficult to get visas. I'm from the UK.

Hi Bob,

If you are from the UK, you probably cannot apply from the airport. Only countries that do NOT have a Belarussian embassy can apply at airport.   If you go to the website  belarussianvisa.com, there is a UK phone number there. The lady there is usually pretty good about answering the telephone.

Hope this helps. -zg
