Hello everyone...
« on: September 16, 2013, 06:28:04 PM »
Hello all,I've been having a good read through the forums, and there are some very interesting opinions and stories on here!
I began looking abroad for a potential future partner as I've become disillusioned with British women around my age (mid 40's),for a multitude of reasons including most of them being overweight and pretty screwed up.I joined Russian Cupid a few months back, without any expectations, but mindful of the amount of scammers on there, and that a fair percentage would not be too genuine.

I talked on Skype to a couple of women, who were polite, attractive, intelligent and seemed to me to be very genuine.I became very interested in one woman, who lives in Kaluga,a few hours from Moscow, and we were in touch every day. She's younger than me,is divorced with a ten year old son,and works in PR.After communicating for about 6 weeks,I decided to go to visit her, much to her delight, and flew to Moscow and travelled on to Kaluga.I found Russia to be a lot more modern than I thought, with prices not dissimilar to the UK for many things, and went to meet my Russian lady as arranged.

The person I found was the most kind, thoughtful and helpful girl I've ever met,as well as being very attractive. She took time to show me as much as I wanted to see;museums, parks,Moscow, everything, and I had the most wonderful 6 days there. She's also got some great values and is very romantic,I met her friends too and they were great people.I'm arranging to go back over in 6 weeks time to spend more time with her,we're planning to go to St Petersburg together for a few days, which I look forward to.

Having read posts on here,I just wanted to share my positive experience with you all to encourage those who perhaps haven't been as fortunate as me.What the future holds for me I don't know, but the one Russian lady I have met is a lovely girl, and I hope others have similar luck.

Welcome Mark, Kaluga is a cool place. A couple who participated in our Orthodox wedding (and ZAGS wedding) lives in Kaluga and we get there several times each year via the Elektrichka (short route electric trains) that runs between Moscow and Kaluga several times daily.

Ovens for Burger King are made in Kaluga. Kaluga Road, highway A101, is the route used by that French midget named Neapolitan when he was beating a retreat out of Russia in 1812.   :D

Peugeot, VW, Volvo now built cars in Kaluga. The city attracts all sort of hot air balloon teams in summer due to climate and topography and is home to a very cool Soviet space museum not to mention a couple of fine universities.

Prior to marriage Kaluga was my first whiplash/"OMG" experience. A group of fellow journalists decided to take the electric train out for the weekend and it seemed that all the young ladies were out strolling in the city centre on a Friday evening, thus our "Oh...My...Gawd" expressions about every 1.3 0.7 seconds accompanied by extreme whiplash symptoms.

Thank you gents,I do realise that it's early days and things may not always be easy, but I'm ever the optimist and whatever will be,will be.

I went to the space museum in Kaluga,it was very interesting, and sampled the nightlife at a place called the Ice Bar;we had a great evening. One thing I noticed was the quality and presentation of the food;everywhere we went, the food was excellent!

Well,I've just returned from a week in amazing St Petersburg with my lady,it has to have been one of the most enjoyable times I have had in my life, and I'm an experienced traveller. The city itself was just beautiful;cultured, scenic and with so many interesting and stunning buildings to see and visit. The restaurants, whilst not cheap, all served superb quality food with friendly and attentive service everywhere we went.

We stayed right in the centre of the city, which was the ideal location to be close to all we wanted to see and do.Anna had made a comprehensive list and itinerary of things to do during our visit, she was wonderful company and very affectionate and romantic-different to any woman I have ever experienced before. All in all it was a fantastic time, things are going well between us,and although we are apart right now,we have a strong commitment to each other and are taking the time to build a relationship which takes into account our different cultures, circumstances and backgrounds. We're off to a great start, long may it continue!

Did you post your very own introduction thread?  The key to getting the most intro replies is to state something like:

"I'm tired of fat feminazi western women. I'm 45, look 10 years younger and wanted to find a thin, hot, 22 year old RW... I met my fiancee at AD, we vid chat every day and fell in love. She doesn't speak English, but that doesn't matter for love. I'm going for my first visit to meet her later this year ."

But what if she will become overweight on day?   :o

I have heard a concept of "kick her to the curb."
Don't know for sure how that works, but maybe applicable here?

Perhaps the analogue to the FSU gal dropping the AM on day 731!   8)
