Hello guys!

It`s nice to find such a welcoming group of people here.

I apologise for grammatical mistakes in advance. My English is not perfect yet, but I`m heading in that direction   :)

So here it goes...My name is Iryna. I live in Odessa and I encounter foreigners pretty often. Big percentage are coming here to find a woman. It pains me to see them leaving the country disappointed due to a bad experience with scammers/ dating agencies etc. And I decided that it would be a good idea to offer my opinion on some subjects and may be share information about our country and Ukrainian women. Feel free to ask any questions   :)

I`m sure that I will learn something useful myself

And I`ll get to practice my English  :P

Yes, as noted, Odesa has a terrible reputation.

Is this out in street, cafes, shops? Maybe as a guide? Or in an agency? just curious..... :)

Well, I communicate a lot on the Internet and I have an American friend who lives here. He helps foreigners to avoid agency`s traps and such, to rent an apartment, buy a telephone etc. I assist him in some things, kind of like part time personal assistant. So I`ve heard a lot of stories on the topic. The upsetting thing is that most of the time really decent men who`s mind is set on building serious relationship get scammed. Sometimes people approach me on the street or in a supermarket asking for help with searching and almost begging eyes "Do you speak English?")))

For her, the collapse of the Soviet Union changed everything for the worse.
