Would you please knock off the continual badmouthing of Ukraine.  You sound like a broken record!  Also, you have no credibility whatsoever.

Well, looking at the OP of this new thread... aside from the mention of Ukraine as the destination and the inferences made from SB's other posts, it's, uhh, pretty much spot on in general terms...

What is it with guys going to Ukraine, do they ever learn! Here is a good tip for any future wannabes DONT LET THE THING IN BETWEEN YOUR LEGS CLOUD YOUR JUDGEMENT!!

Not sure whether the thing in between his legs (for which, of course, we have no tangible evidence as to what that may be save for the purported location and descriptive terms - "his", which merely indicates the unknown object is in the proximity of a male, but exactly which male remains unknown, and "thing" which is open to interpretation as to object type and attributes) clouded his judgement or not.  However the posts did seem to be sidetracking the story a little.   ;D

Dave  the post #1 was not what the comments were about--this thread and posts were taken from another thread  where the - S  (of a) B comments denigrating all things Ukrainian (again)  were repeated.

It is a good example of whoever moved thread did not see the context!!

But apparently you have reading comprehension problems... he stated "your" not "his", so the proximity gender could be.. well.. any.. or none!!!

Steveboy, certainly said it rudely but here at the forum it's generally
said to use your big head to think with.

NOTE I am not making this argument, I am coaching Steveboy how
to make a point without pissing everyone off nearly as much.

Steveboy could have made a better point by saying something like
Why is it that everyone goes to Ukraine where they have an entire
MOB industry that tries to separate you from your money? The industry
is mostly gone in Russia and Russia has 50 million more girls to choose
from, and fewer who derive their income from Western men?

Now if he would have said something like that a few would still get a
little bit miffy, but he would have introduced legitimate points that
could be debated.

Obviously it's quite possible to find an excellent girl in Ukraine we
all know that, but Steveboy would put the idea out there about
some possible advantages of going to Russia. Instead he said what
he said and fewer people will take him seriously now.

2tallbills theory is find the girl and go wherever she happens to be.
If she is in Dumpsk Kapoopski go to Dumpsk and learn a little Kapoopski.

Disclaimer, My girl is Russian

Here are some numbers from visa journey.

Since 10/1/2012.

CR-1 Russia. 17
CR-1 Ukraine. 22

K-1 Russia. 242
K-1 Ukraine 220

These are just numbers of people who filed and signed up at visa journey. As the numbers suggest, equal numbers come from both countries.

How many choose to visit Ukraine over Russia or vise versa????

I also do not know how many of these visa are filed by women living in the US.

75% Ukraine
25% Russia

Just kidding, I made up the numbers  :D  I would say that most go
to Ukraine. No Visa for Americans more agencies

I would guess that very few of those numbers were women filing K1's
for men.

Just my swag (scientific wild ass guess)

Just kidding, I made up the numbers  :D

You're actually probably not far off the real numbers.  For me, coming from a country whose citizens DO need a visa to visit Ukraine, Russia was an easy first choice.  When I did decide to visit Ukraine, the following year, the visa process became too complicated because there is no Ukrainian Embassy in New Zealand and I wasn't prepared to send my passport and other documents to Australia for processing.  I went to Thailand and India instead.  ;D

When it came time to make my second trip to the FSU, and the woman I was going to meet was Ukrainian, I made the effort to get the British passport to which I'm entitled.  Result - $340 odd later, I had a passport which would let me visit Ukraine as often as I liked for 10 years (without needing a visa), with the added benefit of free movement and visa-less and permit-less employment anywhere in the EU if I so desired.  Contrast that with a one time single-entry visa for pretty much the same price after all the courier charges are taken into account, and it was a no-brainer to make the extra effort.

I still, however, can't believe that more North Americans can't be bothered making the effort to get a Russian visa.  I'm with mendeleyev on this one - for a couple of hundred dollars you get an additional fifty million women to choose from!  Cheap at the price, surely!  8)

women or men actually? :)

There are just shy of half a million Ukrainians in my area, a percent of whom file family based visa for fiancee or spouse. this doesn't include all the other areas of the US with fairly significant Ukrainian and Russians living there.
Immigration stats never clear up the MOB,  verses naturalized citizens marrying from their former country, etc and applying for family based visa's.
Overall the MOB thing is likely a small percentage, and obviously varies greatly by country.

It sounds to me as though "Good old " Mila should receive some kind of award? Maybe this forum should have some special medals cast in iron.
Then she could be invited to the US or some where to pick her medal up for services to the MOB industry!! :wallbash: Some times I don't know wether to laugh or cry :'(
