Thanks for the info.  Every helpful.

She is Russian and living in Mexico with a temporary Mexican resident card.

Very convenient.  Spend time with her, lots of time.

I suggest simply living together doing nothing.  That can be a better indicator than sunning at beaches, dining in restaurants, and riding horses to see Monarch butterflies.

I know this k1 process takes up to 9 months so I am thinking of starting It ASAP and just visiting her while we wait for the process. If things go wrong I can cancel it.

I am in the process of my K1 and when I was looking at visajourney.com a lot of the day in Nov.  and Dec. numerous people were getting their NOA2 approved in less than a month.  My own results were

Your I-129f was approved in 28 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 91 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

My fiance and I thought this was going to take a much longer process when we first initially started the visa process especially when USCIS website goal is to have a decision of the I-129F document of five months.

You had a good stroke of luck. Your NOA1 time is pretty much the norm. The NOA2 was very fortunate for you. A small percentage get through the approval process that fast. I have heard of others that fast but they are not the norm. AFAIK, it relates more to the timing of your application to a specific office at a particular time

Definitely more face time needed. Until you can put the "let's see what happens"
approach well behind you, spend as much time as possible getting to know one another.

How can you seriously plan to marry someone after 1 trip 2 trips 3 trips or even 4 or five? its not normal?? I mean shouldn't you live with someone a few months or at least visit them every 1/2 months to really know if that person is compatible with you?
There is no such thing as falling in love over night , getting married a few months later living the perfect life together ? it is usually a case of each person "Needing ' something from the other in this situation. like a "wife" or a "Passport"  >:(

Once again, very valuable advice from you guys.  Thank you.  I plan to visit her next month. Tickets are cheap and so are tacos.
