Pitbull, there are studies showing that a person's beauty helps him/her to get a certain level of success and then it becomes a barrier to success. You see many people  have a preconceived notion that very beautiful people are stupid. In the light of this notion, they often undervalue the outputs coming from beautiful people. So having Lane's look might complicate your path to huge "success". Had you have her look, you husband might be scared to marry you, preferring someone from his league, and your boss might not give you a chance, assuming that you are likely stupid.

You see an example on this very board where Greg wants too see what pitbull's ass looks like in order to listen to her arguments.
As an student antropologist you should be aware there are plenty of studies showing attractive people are treated better and are more successful in things like getting jobs, etc. You can google it up, surely.

I have become uncomfortable with this thread and will request the MOD to close it.  I do not need to justify Lena's or my actions in the past.  I especially uncomfortable with the attempts to disparage her past, present and future.  She was a good woman then and now I am sure.  Her "success" or "failure" is a matter of opinion which is only gaged by her current happiness.  I wish her only the best.

I fully support your decision.

My vast experience has taught me lots but there is still lots to learn like why a woman would come here and get into a pissing contest with her opinion on a matter she knows absolutely nothing about.

Well said, Ken.

Too many people offer opinions as fact, when, they, in turn, do not have the facts.

Such is the life on a forum board.  One poster, on here, particularly, uses an extreme as a norm to promote her view of life.

Here it comes! I told ya!  ;)

What's very interesting about this is that there were four, or was it five members who were moderated in this thread for various reasons.  Not one of them complained about that.  And yet, it seems there are some who have complaints about the mere thought of having to abide by forum rules which are precisely the ones to which every member agreed to follow as a condition of membership.

That truly is hilarious.  :D

I am sorry I misspoke. Looking at her ass will not lend credibility to her inane arguments and opinions but at least it's something if we are going to have to continue to see them here.

I think the thread should stay at least until people start throwing insults.
As to the story...well it's a perfect mob success. Ken snatched a model looking teenager, barely a school girl, had 10 years of her beauty, and when she decided to leave, she left with nothing.
Not even his or family support since his family had not accepted her.
I wish her luck.

Yep, exactly what happened. No matter how much our resident old farts want to put a lipstick on this pig, the pig is blatantly evident.  ;)

I am sorry if I offended you in anyway PitBull. You seem like a sweetheart. I am sure you are just that. I don't know much about your background so I'm kind of in the dark here. Are you married to an American guy?  If so for how long? Do you have a job?

I guess this experience concludes the idea of  encouraging OMBs (old married bastards) to return to RWD periodically and letting us know what's happening.

If true, that is regrettable.

Ken, I imagine that almost all of the experienced posters appreciated your coming by and reminiscing like old friends customarily do when it has been a while since they last spoke.   You have been so important to RWD from the beginning.  It is shame that not all could be reasonable, much less respectful.

Thank you for coming by.  I am pleased that you are healthier and happier, as well as mellowed.  Ain't love grand.

Good job Mr Phil and you are correct. For a long time I always enjoyed reading KenC's posts. He helped a lot of people and it is unknown at the time and money he saved newbies starting the process. You are right. If there were a RWD Hall of Fame he would be an original inductee.

The problem is that everything here is speculation, and the success, failure, or happiness of a specific individual cannot be determined without that individual's input.

If there are members who wish to continue a general discussion about the age gap/youth/beauty/success/etc topic, then continue on that path, but let's move the discussion away from the speculations about Lena specifically.

I am curious how you know she left with nothing.  Perhaps her divorce settlement was a couple of million dollars.  Ken has never discussed that nor should he.  It is always sad when someone involved in an extreme sport gets killed.  Then again they made the choice to take the risk.  Lena made the choice to marry and the choice to divorce.  Whatever she did or did not end up with, what ever gains she had in lifestyle, in education whatever loss of years she had or whatever else,  she made the choice of her own free will and just the same for all of us.  We have to live with the results of our choices in life.   I wish her the best but I don't see any reason to feel sorry for her or pity her.

i surmise the term 'old fart' is an acceptable descriptor.

however, i've recently learned that 'pig' is not.  (btw wasn't used for you pitbull.)

i'd love to participate actively, so if anyone would recommend a tos-appropriate equivalent to 'pig', i'd be grateful.  you know -- something about as offensive as old fart.  but no more no less.

thanks!

I know she left with nothing because that what Ken posted in his thread about his divorce.
She seems to have nothing to show for 10 years of marriage. No money, no good job, no children , no family. Re children i remember ken posted they looked into adoption and he mentioned she wanted kids, too.
She has consequences of her choices, yes, i still feel sorry for her.

If Lena is a washed-up spinster at 30, imagine how some of these women posters are at an even older age.   Maybe something on the order of matronly.   Nope, because matronly suggests an air of dignity, and we did not see much of that.

I have got it, old bat.    I believe that is the feminine counterpart to old fart.

Dunno what an old fart is.  Don't mind the moniker, but we have women posting on here who are married to men substantially older than I am.  And they have age disparate relationships.  Or at least I would assume so, as I don't know what qualifies as such.  Is fifteen years age disparate?  Is twenty years age disparate?  How about 25?

But I enjoy reading the forum.  And when I look at some of the comments made by some of the women here, I have to wonder what types of lives they have (or lack thereof) that will cause them to be so caustic in their comments.

We're here to facilitate relationships between FSUW and WM.  I appreciate the advice I get from a multitude of sources and certainly am conscious of the social setting I live in and how it would be perceived if I show up with someone younger than my daughter.  But I also understand that there is an element of love involved.  And, quite frankly, some women are looking at older men because that is who they choose.  They choose a man older than them rather than a man their own age for many reasons.  But to say that there is not love there - or because there is age disparity it must be a dominant relationship?  I disagree with these perspectives.

Each relationship has its own challenges.  What are yours?

Who is deprecating Ken! On the contrary we agree he did very well and got an amazing deal. Good on him, again!

You know damn well that you are not respecting Ken.  Your use of the derogatory term MOB establishes that.
