I found out that Western media in fact blocked most part of information coming from here. My numerous relatives in USA say that they csn't see anyhting casted directly from here, only USA processed info on local channels/.

It is shockingly one sided here as well. I expected better from bbc. Silly me.  I also can not see half of you tubes clips here, blocked. Reading comments generally gives an idea why. Lol. Sad, really, i lost my last illusion about independent un biased media this year.

it's late :P
and if to be serious, for sure there were people who fought there for their idea, it's our of discussion. Just they were in minority.

Oh gee. Thanks for clarifying that. I feel much better about my inlaws. They were in the minority.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/pro-ukraine-and-pro-russia-groups-in-crimea-clash-20-injured-1.2551705

Fistfights broke out between pro- and anti-Russian demonstrators in Ukraine's strategic Crimea region on Wednesday as Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered massive military exercises just across the border.
The tests of military readiness involve most of the military units in central and western Russia, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said in a televised statement. He said the exercise would "check the troops' readiness for action in crisis situations that threaten the nation's military security."

Right! Simply a test for military readiness.  :)

Russia is afraid of a threat to their Russia-Ukraine border.  :)
Can I sell you a piece of land?

Between you and me, my SIL was sending my wife links directly from Ukraine. Plus she was chewcking constantly with Censor.net and Ukrainska Pravda. I should mention that I introduced my wife to the last two websites. She was very pleased she could discuss issues with her sister on "real time."

Yes justme100,

Freedom with Europe..in case you hadn't noticed Poland has done rather well since joining the EU...and left Ukraine trailing in it's wake.

Joining the EU isn't on the table now,not until the corruption is eradicated from Ukraine, but one things for sure if you keep doing the same things, then you'll get the same results..and your link with Russia hasn't done your country much good so far has it ?
I live in Sevastopol, and believe me, our link with Russia gave us much more than our native country.
And yes, freedom with Europe one more-huge lol. And thanks God most part of our country understands this pretty well.

Of course not. What will contain civil war in the Ukrainian territory is the scale down of bellicose rhetoric from Napoleon. If the midget won't stop he will have a worse scenario than Checnya at his doorsteps.

three problems, which are really one in the same.
Someone the west and east will accept.
Someone who is not overly corrupt.
Then with that, they need to win, other wise one side or the other
will not take seriously, seems like a big problem.
Common sense, Is not so common!

Protest leader Arsenij Jatsenjuk  put forward as Ukraines New prime minister

http://www.aftenposten.no/nyheter/uriks/Jatsenjuk-foreslatt-som-ny-statsminister-i-Ukraina-7484279.html#.Uw43e_aYZ9A

Hopefully just for a few months. Then kick his ass to the curb.

Yes, I can see it now pretty well even from the video I posted earlier. What this woman says is a huge lie!She mentions armed Berkut attacking peaceful people.Hah...these poor boys from Berkut were put there without guns and had to face "peaceful protestants" who previously stole guns from local police departments. Brainwashing american citizens seems to be in full bloom.

not sure who you call midget and he should stop doing what?
Me hopes putin realises it can get worse than chechnya and is prepared to act and sod off all international      whining , vague threats and bad pr. I am also worried about my Jewish cousens in lviv.   Heard of pogroms, hopefully just isolated incidents.

It's a very dangerous game!
Unfortunately(
I remember your wife is from Kerch, aslo city-hero as Sevastopol, and where each stone as well holds the memory of fierce fights with fascists. It was a real pleasure to see what Kerch citizens did with these "people" several days ago.

Poland was doing pretty well before they joined the EU. Greece and Cyprus were not to bad either.

Any idea how much to the 35 billion the new leaders of Ukraine have demanded will be printed by Obama?
The rest will be from my tax euro's.....
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

The cartoonist, presumably an extremely biased Russian (it comes from site radikal.ru), conveniently leaves Afghanistan off his panorama of doors of nations 'abused' by the US. Convenient, since the Russian-led USSR (CCCP) murdered and committed uncounted atrocities there in the 1980's, well before the US.

I feel that Your inputs here echoes that of my wife and MIL who are from Kerch. We hope they will kick out the rebels, but my wife worries mostly about the tatar muslims. How long until they start doing what they know best, blowing up buildings and shouting allah-akbar.

My wife told me many busses came from Kiev to Kerch with protesters, but they were beaten by the residents and sent back again.

You do not understand. Any civil unrest produces violence. Its absolutely no difference who will beat you up, pro-russian neo nazi or pro euro nazi, fact is with no police in place and fights going on you'll get beaten. Is it such difficult concept to understand?

Yes, that;s the great concern. Tartars are fearless cruel people. There was a huge meeting in Simferopol today where tartars rebelled, many people from Sevastopol came to Simferopol to protect citizens from them. It was pieceful enough for today...but unfortunately peace and tartars are not two words frequently met in one sentence(

Boy, this must be because the Russian carbonated water.

The real facts, eh?

Like the Russian Foreign Minister accusing Ukraine of conducting Pogroms by Nazis but the Kremlin embraces their own Nazis because of their relentless jingoism helping erradicate the "unwanted" in Russia.

Who is being the naive here?

At least I call out the US on their bullshit.

What is to understand? This is NOT what we were discussing, were we?

Yes, there is civil unrest. Yes, when this happens people will get hurt.

What we were talking about was how the leader of a country deliberately instigated sedition in another country and somehow you expect this to be okay because this leader always treated the other country as his vassal.

Please explain to me how this is okay.

Better yet, tell me how this differs from the graphics posted above.
