Scammer Scorecard (BETA)

One of our board members has offered, and I have accepted, the opportunity to utilize a small interactive tool designed to help the inexperienced, or those rushing headlong, to identify *potential* scammers (or scamming behaviors).

We have a beta version of the tool available for review and comment - and would appreciate the review and comment of the entire RWD community.

Tested the tool on some of the women I wrote to other than my fiancee. They show up as probable scammers and maybe scammer, of which I am sure they were not.
Just clicking on the IP not showing her stated location is enough to get a 'perhaps she is not a scammer' score.

I think that the scoring card should be improved with full options, including the ones that will score 0 points. Right now answers are a bit unclear.

My thought is this:

If you do not know a person well enough, that you would need to run a test on the Internet -- Then possibly they are a scammer...

I agree with Shadow and also would like to see those qustions that are Yes or No offer both choices as opposed to just leaving it blank, it leaves to much to read into it by not answering.

From what I have learned, the last couple weeks in this and other forums.  All ladies are scammers until proven innocent. Not even a reputable agency can guaranty your safety.
This is dangerous territory for naïve individuals. I am sure there are many wonderful, decent ladies inside the pool, but you have to be alert of the sharks swimming along the good ones.

Show partly uncovered body parts (e.g. mini bikini) 1 2 2+ partly uncovered parts

Show totally uncovered body parts (e.g. naked) 1 2 2+ totally uncovered parts

This needs a bit of revision. I mean what are 1, 2, 2+ uncovered body parts? Hands? Feet? Do breasts count as one or two parts?

I think it should simply be "does she send bikini / lingerie photos" and "does she send naked photos" (and if so forward them to Jooky for closer scammer inspection).

I agree with Shadow about the ranking system. It seems that if you click just one thing "perhaps she is not a scammer".

My wife scored as a scammer!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am gonna have to keep an eye on her from now on.  I thought after knowing her for 8 years I was out of the woods with the scammer crap.  (That damn 100 points for our age difference is a killer)

How many trips are you planning to take to see this girl?
Do you regularly print pictures from profiles and put them in your wallet or under your pillow? Y/N
Is she younger than your daughter? Y/N
Does she make you feel like a million bucks? Y/N

Improvement on questions, but the score did not come up. I want to be sure before I write my ex she is a scammer

"her partner's desired age range" is missing the 11-19 year difference. I also got nothing in the score. I did leave several fields blank as they were N/A.

On my UW friend that I met I got "She is almost certain a scammer"
On a girl I wrote until meeting my fiancee I got "She is probably a scammer"
On my fiancee I got "She may be a scammer"

I must be picking the wrong women  but at least my choice was improving
