Of course. If there is less chance of having to fight the Russian army, the Ukrainian one gets more courage.

  My wife says that PPs has been telling many lies. Many are upset about the broken promises and there are many who are calling for action against PP.

 I have no idea to what extent this is.

I do not watch TV in Kiev but i watch it here. The more I find out about our progress in this war the more depressed I become.     Our guys die every day because our government are still corrupted, steal military funds, appoint corrupted commanders etc.

Betsy says the same things about the Ukrainian war effort.  She blames Poroshenko for not closing the border with Russia.  She is tied of watching Ukrainian soldiers die.  When I told her that I blamed Putin, she gave a long sigh.  She argues a lot with her mother as her mother loves politics and watching the news.

But you can come to the US no problems, is that correct?  Are certain EU citizens more equal than others when it comes to entering the US?

While you do not answer any question with 'yes' or are registered as felon / possible danger there is no problem. And as usual diplomats are a bit more equal.

Certainly here.  It has been reported in the last couple of days that a foreign national was arrested on 9th May and charged with burglary and assault with intent to rape - turns out to be embassy staff.  Of course he claimed diplomatic immunity and has been whipped back home by his government.  It will be interesting to see if they actually do anything other than reprimand him for getting caught.
