My Wife says the electric was cut for two days straight, then on a few hours, then off, etc. Water is short!

More sanctions were put on Crimea by EU and USA.

Train service from Ukraine to Crimea has ended.

The future is dim!

Both passenger trains and cargo trains have been stopped to Crimea from Ukraine.  The Ukrainians claim that there is a security risk.

It would seem that the only way for supplies to arrive is by ship or by plane.

Visa and Mastercard will not honor cards used in Crimea.

Russia is going to have to step up its game as the locals will get restless without tourism next year.

Did I read, recently, that Russia conceded that it cannot build the bridge without the consent of Ukraine?

Maybe you will get to Heaven when you die.  What conversation will you have with Jesus, "hey I denied you everywhere and anywhere for laughs, but let me in.  I don't want to be nothing though it was nothing I professed."

Who but a scoundrel believes such things?

Tell it to the so called "rebels".  The lack of coal is causing electricity shortages within Ukraine.  There is a need to supply their own citizens, before they supply people who have taken foreign citizenship.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

How many times should Ukraine honour ceasefires which the terrorists ignore?

as many times as Ukraine ignores the same ceasefires.
Besides that a ceasefire is not a solution. It is merely a pause to regroup.
Ukraine should make realistic proposals that Russia can use tp press on the rebels.

Please provide links to Ukraine breaking a ceasefire.  Ukrainian soldiers have responded, but have not, AFAIK, broken any ceasefire.

As for a solution, of course it is needed, but so long as Russia believes the conflict is in its interests, it will continue.

Which means proposals must be made so that Russia is interested in a solution. And I believe that would be very easy to achieve.

If it were easy, it would have occurred already.

It does not accur because of the stubbornness in Kiev. The solution is really simple.

I disagree.  No matter what Kyiv agrees to, it will not be enough.

If it includes recognizing Crmea as Russian territiry, it can be solved before New Year.

If that is the case, then you are contradicting your assertion that Russia is not involved in Donbas.

However, I doubt that point is even part of the negotiations.

There is a difference between being involved and having influence.
When Russia will press on the Donbass area that unless they agree they will effectively break all ties, they will have little choice but to acccept most major conditions.
The point will not be on the official negotiating, as the issues are kept separate. However a breakthrough in one would lead to a breakthrough in the other.

Ochka tells that it is not just Crimea that experiences shut off of electricity.

Her family says that electricity is periodically shut off in all areas of Ukraine on a rotating basis.

Not enough coal available to operate the plants at full capacity.

I doubt that.  The terrorists want to control the region they have carved out, but want all social payments from Kyiv to recommence.
