Putin worked so hard on that peace deal made a couple of days ago and the rebels squander it away.   The West will continue to have faith that "talks" with Putin is the right road to peace.

Police say at least 10 people killed in a rocket attack on a market in Mariupol by pro-Russian separatists today.

Looks like the pro-Russian separatists/Russians are ramping up their murderous acquisition of the rest of Ukraine....which i suspect was Putlers plan all along.

If NATO doesn't get it's arse in gear, and at the minimum give lethal arms support to Ukraine, there will be genocide in Ukraine...economic sanctions alone clearly are not working.

And for those on here who don't want their country getting involved..don't believe for one minute Putler will stop at Ukraine once he's taken it..when he sees how pansy-waisted all of NATO ,including the USA, is he'll know there is nothing to stop him taking whatever he wants until NATO will have no choice but to get involved.

The longer he's allowed to continue the more powerful he'll become,and things will escalate.

The shooting down of the airliner was the perfect excuse for NATO to get involved more..but it bent over and did nothing....just threats  and  hot air.

Maybe the West is too soft now,legalizing gay marriages is more of a priority,...and Putin knows it.

CB-- sanctions can work--if given time. Ukraine defending itself effectively will give it time for sanctions to work!!

    All of  Ukraine will be taken over by Russia by the summer..end of the year at the latest IMO.

NATO will have done nothing..all it's good for is protesting against Russia's actions while bombing Camel jockeys in the Middle-east.

Yeah Jay because sanctions have worked so far.  Who needs rich friends when you have 80% approval.  CB is right.  NATO needs to give them aid.  EU & US need to disallow Russia from SWIFT.

Got plane tickets to go back to Kharkiv in March to see my lady friend and hopefully seal the deal.
If I make it back over there I'm planning to donate some money to the military effort so I can do my small part to get some more Russians Putinists killed.
