Putin as Julius Caesar statue to be unveiled on Victory Day

Upon seeing the headline I might have guessed that this was some sort of parody, but apparently it's real:

The bust is currently on display at a local academy of arts in St. Petersburg. The final sculpture will be cast in bronze and unveiled May 9 during a ceremony to celebrate what Russians refer to as “Victory Day” — which is a holiday commemorating the former Soviet Union’s victory in World War II

What is next, perhaps a statue of Putin dressed in the uniform of Napoleon with his hand in his waistcoat, as seen in the famous portrait by Jacques-Louis David? Or wearing the bicorne hat Napoleon was known for wearing. No, that probably wouldn't work because Napoleon invaded Russia.

How about Putin wearing a robe and carrying a staff, looking all Charlton Heston like, as he parts the Red Sea?
